A returning Vic Joseph and former cruiserweight champion Drew Gulak welcome us to another edition of 205 Live from the WWE Performance Center.

Tehuti Miles makes his way to the ring for our opening contest. He’ll be taking on Mansoor in singles-action.

Mansoor versus Tehuti Miles

Miles throws his gear in Mansoor’s face at the bell and unloads on him with a flurry of strikes. He stomps Mansoor down in the corner for the early advantage. Hard Irish-whip and Mansoor is down. He shakes off Miles’ early offense and hits a big back body drop for an early nearfall. Miles bounces back with a dropkick that sends Mansoor to ringside. Miles keeps the pressure on and sends Mansoor into the barricade, then smashes his face off the plastic glass to protect the wrestlers from fans. Referee’s count gets to seven but Miles breaks it and continues his assault. Back in the ring…Miles sends Mansoor right back out and plays to the crowd. Mansoor makes his way back into the ring…Miles continues targeting the midsection with a flapjack and body scissor. Mansoor gets dumped to the apron…he hits a slingshot corkscrew neckbreaker to slow Miles down. Big comeback from Mansoor. Running lariats and a dropkick in succession. Atomic drop/spinebuster combination, which Joseph compliments Mansoor on. He connects with his finisher to beat Miles two weeks in a row.

Mansoor wins by pinfall

Commercial for this Sunday’s Horror Show at Extreme Rules pay per view, with the Swamp Fight between Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman heavily featured.

Backstage cruiserweight champion Santos Escobar is having a drink with Raul Mendoza and Joaquin Wilde. The toast to their first victory together as a faction, then poke fun at Drake Maverick, with Escobar saying he only has a job in WWE because he cried on Twitter. They toast to their future in the 205 division.

Clips of Isaiah “Swerve” Scott defeating Tony Nese from three weeks ago is shown. This led to Nese partnering with Swerve to defeat Ever-Rise, and a newfound friendship. However, Swerve clearly still doesn’t trust Nese even despite Nese’s change in attitude.

Main event time. Tony Nese is out first, followed by his opponent…Ever-Rise’s Chase Parker. Matt Martel accompanies him to the ring.

Tony Nese versus Chase Parker

Tie-up. Nese muscles Parker down to the mat with ease. He allows him to get up and both men reset. Nese picks the ankle on their second exchange…nice sequence of ground wrestling from Nese who traps Parker in a headlock. Parker bounces him off the ropes but Nese runs through him with a shoulder block. Martel goes for a hip-toss…Nese counters and applies a varied abdominal stretch using his legs…a maneuver Gulak is quite impressed with. Parker gets frustrated and shoves Nese…Nese shoves him right back. Martel distracts Nese but Parker can’t get the advantage…leg-sweep by Nese for a nearfall. Parker manages to slow Nese’s momentum down by targeting his arm. Parker connects with a running bulldog before going back after the arm. Nese creates separation and hits a snapmare into the knee, followed by a spinning heel kick. He hits his signature springboard moonsault for a close two. Martel with another distraction…Nese throws Parker into Martel, then decapitates Parker with a spinning kick for the victory.

Tony Nese wins by pinfall

Martel jumps Nese immediately after. Ever-Rise stomp Nese down until Swerve runs them off. Ever-Rise screams at Swerve that this is none of his business. Swerve asks Nese if he’s okay and the two stand tall.
