Christian says at this point, he says he thinks Edge is running on fumes.

Edge has a confused look and then Christian says ‘The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever’. You couldn’t even pull it off in your prime. Christian says they are friends and he has to be brutally honest. Christian says those are lofty expectations and if you think you can live up to that, you are lying to yourself.

Edge tells Christian to pump the brakes. Edge asks Christian if he has thought about what it is like to be in his shoes? Have you thought about what he is going through without having a ‘wrestling’ match for 9 and a half years. He says to have this match called the Greatest Match Ever, it is like being put at the bottom of Mount Everest and being told to climb with no gear or crew. This is a different Edge. This isn’t the same Edge who had to give you the confidence to go to the ring. Edge says he might have some self doubt because Randy Orton has been here for those nine years and has been firing on all cylinders. Edge says he doesn’t know how many cylinders he has right now.

Christian says he is hearing excuses. He asks Edge what did he think when he came back. Would it be a greatest hits where you hit a spear here and a spear there and then smile and go home? Where is the belief? Christian says he knows someone who believed in Edge more than anyone. It was your mom. She was at ringside watching all of your title wins. Christian says she will be there on Sunday. Christian tells Adam if that Edge is not going to be there on Sunday, just walk through those ropes and go home.

Christian tells Edge that is what he was looking for. He sees it in your eyes. Christian says you put Randy Orton down at Wrestlemania. You have the anti-venom. We have confidence in you. We think you can do this. We think you are as good now as you have ever been. We think you can have the Greatest Match Ever.

Randy Orton is in the back and he tells Christian and Edge to shut the hell up. If he has to hear these words again, he is going to be sick to his stomach. We hear what you think, but not what we know. You made one guarantee Edge. You said you would try. That is pathetic. The hype for this match is astronomical and what will happen when you fail? He will make Edge a broken man who will be forced to go home to be with his wife and children. On Sunday, the redemption of Edge is over.

Edge tells Randy “no it is not”. Edge leaves the ring and goes to the back.
