FTR will make their in-ring debut next week, but they aren’t officially signed to All Elite Wrestling just yet.
The former WWE tag team champions are currently operating on a “handshake deal” with the promotion. The pair revealed the news on Dax Harwood’s IG Live stream.
“So, we’re negotiating still,” Wheeler revealed. “We have a short-term, almost handshake deal, because they want to get this thing done finally, because it’s been talked about for so many years. So, we’re not under any long-term obligation with anybody.”
Since they haven’t signed a contract just yet, they can currently take independent dates if they choose to. During the stream, the former Revival expressed an interest in wrestling Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows as well.
FTR will make their in-ring debut on AEW Dynamite next week when they take on The Butcher & The Blade.
