As noted, Impact Wrestling teased the appearance for several former WWE stars during their Slammiversary promo. It looks like EC3 is on board.
In an interesting turn of events, former WWE Superstar EC3 posted a video of himself that mimmicks the Slammiversary commercial released by Impact Wrestling earlier this week.
Towards the end of the video (see below), he removed the hoodie to reveal himself. The video includes footage that was shown in the Slammiversary video from earlier this week with several released WWE stars shown. The belief is that the man under the hood would appear at Slammiversary. Keep in mind that every main roster wrestler that was released in April is under a 90-day no-compete that will expire a few days before the Slammiversary pay-per-view. NXT wrestlers were under 30-day no-compete.
EC3 would be a good choice to appear at Slammiversary but bear in mind that this could just be his way to play into the rumors so nothing is confirmed until the mystery person actually shows up at the PPV.
However, The fact that he used “#ClickBait” could mean that he’s just starting the rumor mill once again. Whatever EC3 does he will likely control his own narrative.
New world.
My rules.
Nostalgia is dead.
Click Bait.
