WWE RAW “3:16 Day” Results (3/16) – Orlando, FL

WWE RAW Results (3/16) - Orlando, FL

The first-ever WWE RAW from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida opens live with Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler standing in the ring.

There is no crowd in the Performance Center. They hype tonight’s “3:16 Day” edition of RAW and how WWE Hall of Famer Steve Austin will be here later tonight.

Tom shows us last week’s AJ Styles promo on The Undertaker, where he commented on Taker’s wife Michelle McCool. Saxton says Taker will be here tonight to sign the WrestleMania 36 contract. They go on hyping tonight’s show and Tom brings up WWE Hall of Famer Edge being here tonight. The music and the pyro suddenly interrupts.

– The music hits as WWE Hall of Famer Edge makes his way to the ring. Mike Rome does the introduction. Edge says it has been a strange few months for him and his wife Beth. We take a look at a video package.

Edge says it is a long time coming. When your dad introduced you to me 21 years ago, everything from that moment was going to change. Our paths would intertwine. The Intercontinental Championship. Rated RKO to destroy DX. Exchanging stories talking about how we hated the same person. We talked about how the same man motivated us to be waht we are . . . Mick Foley. There was one lesson that Edge says he took from Mick that you did not. Grit. The grit to stand up after all of the surgeries over the last nine years to come back to compete in the Royal Rumble.

We are alike but there is one difference. You are an entitled brat. You might be one of the best to do this, but you had it handed to you on a silver platter. Your dad handed you all of this. It kills you that I had to fight for everything I got. I had a single mom who broke her back to make sure that I got what I have earned.

I came back after nine years and threw you out of the Royal Rumble. You don’t love me, you are jealous. You can’t do what I do and it tears you apart.

Two weeks ago, Beth comes back to give a medical update and what no one realizes is she was going to retire for me again. Someone shouldn’t be forced to retire from what they love to do not once, but twice. You didn’t let her finish. We talked about all of those years I stopped you from making horrible decision after decision. You pulled me out of a hole that you dug for me. You kept me from making a terrible decision. At Wrestlemania, if you’ve got the guts, it’s Edge versus Orton in a Last Man Standing Match.

This is not a story that you dictate or write, I write it. It is a redemptive story and at Wrestlemania, you won’t stand back up.

– We see Becky Lynch pull up to the WWE Performance Center in her own custom painted 18 wheeler, minus the trailer. The Man honks the horn and hops out, marching into the building. We go to commercial.

– We take a look back at the 2020 Royal Rumble. I’m afraid they will show the whole Men’s Royal Rumble match so see ya in about ONE hour for the next update…

At 9:10 AJ Styles just entered the Rumble… Boring.

At 9.30 #27 Kevin Owens is entering the Royal Rumble. Still few minuted before our next LIVE update.

At 9:55 the full Men’s Royal Rumble replay is finally over, as you know Drew McIntyre won.

– Back at the Performance Center, Tom mentions the announcement that Wrestlemania will be taking place at the Performance Center instead of Tampa.

– We go to Paul Heyman’s warning to Drew McIntyre two weeks ago and we see what Drew did to Brock.

In the EMPTY Arena:

We go to the ring and Lawler is in there with a table and chairs for a contract signing. Lawler introduces The Undertaker and out he comes to sign the WrestleMania 36 contract with AJ Styles. Taker quickly marches to the ring instead of taking his time like usual, as the music plays and the lightning strikes. Taker enters the ring and immediately starts flipping over the table and chairs for some reason. Lawler retreats from the ring as we go back to commercial.

– We are back and Tom mentions that Taker was not happy that there was no contract for him to sign. We have a video package for AJ Styles and Undertaker.

AJ is in the back with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. AJ says he has the contract since he challenged Taker. AJ says we are in the building where hundreds of prospects come to try to be the Undertaker. AJ says Taker is on the Mount Rushmore for WWE. You carried this company on your back but it is 2020 and you are in a world where people want to see you leave. You don’t see MIchael Jordan, Brett Favre, or Peyton Manning interject themselves into their championships. Undertaker is interjecting himself into Wrestlemania.

It is because of Michelle McCool.

AJ tells Mark he is a shell of himself. AJ tells Mark to let it go. AJ says something should be telling him to take it easy on the old guy. Twice you have stuck your nose in OC business. You stole the trophy from him in Saudi Arabia. Then you cost him a victory at Elimination Chamber.

You cannot hide when the lights go out and we know you cannot run. AJ says he will pay for your assisted living costs. AJ says he will be doing the favor when you rest in peace.

AJ finally signs the contract and asks Anderson to take the contract out to Taker. Anderson isn’t interested. AJ tells Gallows to take the contract but he’s also not interested. They argue and AJ sends them both out, telling them not to back-talk him. Gallows and Anderson head to the ring with the contract as their music hits.

Gallows and Anderson slowly walk out as Taker stares them down. They’re hesitant, finally laying the contract on the edge of the apron. They start backing up but the lights go out. We hear the bell toll once. The light comes back on as the bell tolls again. Taker is no longer in the ring, but now he’s standing behind Gallows and Anderson. They finally turn around to see Taker standing behind them but it’s too late. Taker destroys Gallows and Anderson at ringside, sending them into the barriers and the steel ring steps. Taker signs the contract as AJ watches on the big screen. Taker rips the contract out of the holder and shoves it in Anderson’s mouth. Taker’s music starts back up as he marches to the top of the ramp. AJ is on the big screen, staring back at Taker. Taker stares back as his music starts up to end the segment.
