It was not audible for the fans watching at home but, according to reports from fans at the Wells Fargo Center, there were fans who turned on the Elimination Chamber main event.
As noted, Shayna Baszler made all the girls involved in the Women’s Chamber tap. Some fans reportedly left before the end of the main event, which is not a common occurrence for pay-per-view events. For most of the show, the crowd was said to not be as loud as other events held in that arena.
Former WWE/ECW star Justin Credible commented on WWE killing off the crowd with the lackluster show. He tweeted, “#WWEChamber then you wonder why @AEWrestling Is sparking so much interest. Last ppv before Wrestlemania???? Come on guys. You just killed a live Philly sold out crowd. Even worse on paper view television. Blah blah #ecw #wwe”
