SmackDown will go on as planned this week, but it won’t take place in Detroit. The coronavirus has caused them to relocate the blue brand’s show this week.
The company has now released an official statement on the matter. They really are moving SmackDown due to the coronavirus. The new location will be the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
“Friday Night SmackDown on March 13 will air live as regularly scheduled and emanate from WWE’s training facility in Orlando, Florida with only essential personnel in attendance. The event was originally scheduled in Detroit, Michigan.”
There is no word yet on plans for Monday Night Raw but it looks like there is a real possibility that Raw will also have to move to the Performance Center.
