WWE RAW Results (2/10) – Ontario, CA

We’re live from the Toyota Arena in Ontario, California as the pyro explodes.

Tom Phillips welcomes us and reminds us we’re only 55 days away from WrestleMania 36. Tom is joined by Byron Saxton and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler. They hype tonight’s show – the big eight-man main event, RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch defending against WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Asuka, plus Drew McIntyre on The VIP Lounge with MVP.

– We go right to the ring and Mike Rome does the introductions as RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Murphy are already standing there with The Authors of Pain – Akam and Rezar. Rollins welcome us to RAW and says he’s proud to stand here as our Monday Night Messiah. Fans boo.

Seth says the name has grown on him and he realizes how difficult it is for you to speak from your hearts and truly make difficult decisions. Seth says he is here to make the tough decisions for you and I am here to lead you into the future. Seth says he wants to talk about the past when Buddy, Akam, and Rezar faced Kevin Owens and the Viking Raiders last week.

Seth says his boys were victorious but that didn’t sit well with Kevin and the Viking Raiders because their actions cost him a chance to face Brock Lesnar. Seth says forgiveness is a virtue but his patience is growing very very thin when it comes to Kevin Owens and his friends. They are not here to preach a message of divisiveness. They are here to preach a message of oneness and unity. They will not leave the ring until that message is heard.

Kevin Owens’ music plays and he makes his way to the stage.

Seth tells Kevin that before he says anything he wants to warn Kevin not to get in over his head because of what happened to Samoa Joe and Ivar the last two weeks. Seth says he is Kevin’s Monday Night Messiah, he is their Monday Night Messiah, and he is the universe’s Monday Night Messiah. Seth tells Kevin if he stands alone, he will fall.

Kevin says Seth sounds stupid as hell when he runs his mouth. Now he looks stupid. Even though he tells Seth he talks too much, but Kevin says he just keeps fighting. Kevin says he is not alone.

The Viking Raiders join Kevin on the stage.

They end up going to the ring but Murphy and AOP meet them at ringside. The six Superstars brawl at ringside as Rollins watches from the ring. Samoa Joe comes from behind and drops Rollins into a Coquina Clutch as fans go wild. Murphy and AOP make the save for Rollins. The Vikings and Owens enter the ring to continue the big brawl. Murphy is left alone in the ring with a babyface. Owens delivers a big Stunner, sending Murphy out of the ring. Joe’s music hits as they celebrate and pose in the ring.

RAW Women’s Title Match: Asuka vs. Becky Lynch

RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring while the other Superstars are still wrapping up the opening segment. The Man hits the ring and poses as we go to commercial.

Back from the break and out comes WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors – Asuka with Kairi Sane. Asuka talks trash on the mic but she’s just laughing and carrying on, some in Japanese. Becky and everyone else looks confused. We get formal ring introductions from Rome.

They lock up and Becky with a waist lock and Asuka with a wrist lock. Becky with a reversal and Asuka with a side head lock. Asuka holds on as Becky tries to send her off the ropes. Asuka with a shoulder tackle and she tells Becky to get out of the corner. Becky with a kick and arm wringer. Becky works on the arm but Asuka with forearms. Asuka with a side head lock. Asuka with a side head lock take down but Becky reverses into a side head lock. Becky with a shoulder tackle and she poses. Becky blocks a kick and Becky with a dragon screw leg whip. Becky is sent to the apron and Becky with a forearm. Kairi gets on the apron and distracts Becky long enough to allow Asuka to hit a hip attack to knock Becky off the apron. Back to commercial.

We are back and Asuka with kicks and an arm bar. Becky with forearms and a hip attack against the ropes. Becky with an elbow and clotheslines. Becky with a leg lariat and a back heel kick. Becky with a flying forearm for a near fall. Becky with forearms. Asuka with an inside cradle for a enar fall. Asuka blocks a kick and goes for a German suplex but Becky blocks it. Asuka escapes a DisArmHer attempt. Asuka with a pop up knee and sit out fisherman’s bomb for a near fall. Becky sends Asuka to the floor and follows with a baseball slide to Asuka. Becky comes off the apron and hits Kairi with a forearm when Asuka is pushed out of the way by Kairi. Asuka with a kick to the back

Asuka runs into a boot and Becky comes off the turnbuckles into a gutbuster and Asuka gets a near fall. Asuka sends Becky shoulder first into the ring post and then Asuka misses a hip attack and gets caught in the ropes. Becky applies DisArmHer in the ropes. Becky goes for a suplex on the apron but Asuka blocks it and she puts Becky’s leg in the ropes and connects with forearms to the back. Asuka goes for a slam on the apron but Becky counters into a reverse DDT on the apron.

We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Asuka hits a big superplex for a close 2 count. Asuka shows some frustration now, delivering the dropkick to the face for another pin attempt. Asuka goes right into an armbar. Lynch finally powers up from a triangle, dropping Asuka back down into the mat. Asuka kicks out at 2 as Sane yells at them. Fans chant “this is awesome!” now. Asuka dodges Becky’s top rope leg drop and goes right into the Asuka Lock.

Lynch struggles on the mat as they tangle some more. They trade pin attempts. Lynch ducks a kick and rolls Asuka up for another 2 count. Asuka blocks the Dis Arm Her again for a pin attempt. Lynch ends up driving Asuka back down and covering for the pin to retain.

Winner: Becky Lynch

After the match, Becky stands tall as her music hits. Becky raises the title in the air until Shayna Baszler suddenly attacks out of nowhere, dropping Becky from behind. Baszler works Becky over and then goes after her the back of her neck. Baszler bites the back of Becky’s neck and comes back up with blood pouring all out of her mouth. Baszler screams out as the referee checks on Becky, who is rolling around in pain as the referee checks on her. Some fans boo Baszler as she marches up the ramp. A frantic Becky is talking with the referee with blood everywhere. The referee puts on his gloves and tends to Becky as we see paramedics coming down to check on The Man. Lynch insists she’s fine. She yells at one paramedic to take it easy as they try to check on the wound. Back to commercial with a split screen as Lynch is helped away from ringside.

Mojo Rawley and Riddick Moss vs. The Street Profits

Back from the break and WWE 24/7 Champion Mojo Rawley is in the ring with Riddick Moss. We see Becky Lynch backstage insisting she doesn’t need medical attention. The Street Profits are out next – Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins. They celebrate with fans and the ring. Tom says Mojo’s 24/7 Title is not up for grabs during this match. Fans chant “we want smoke!” as The Profits take the mics. They take shots at Mojo and we get the bell.

There’s some back and forth to start but The Street Profits quickly put Moss away after a double team Spinebuster and splash combo.

Winners: The Street Profits

After the match, Mojo comes in to help Moss back to his feet. Moss rolls Mojo up and pins him to become the new WWE 24/7 Champion. Moss takes off with the title.

– We see Becky Lynch backstage, still arguing with officials and paramedics. She ends up stealing the ambulance and driving away with the sirens on.

In the Arena:

We go to the ring for the return of The VIP Lounge as MVP makes his way to the ring. Back to commercial.

We are back and MVP says it has been a long time and he says big things are still popping and little things are still stopping. He says he is still Ballin’. He tells everyone to enjoy the view and it is for people like him and people who are better than you. After a ten year hiatus, he could not think of a better guest than the man who single handedly or single legedly eliminated Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble. MVP introduces Drew McIntyre.

Drew is not on the list so he walks past the velvet rope. Drew says hello and he apologizes for what happened with the velvet rope. MVP says it is Drew being Drew. MVP says they go way back through good times and bad. He says that Drew is finally realizing his potential and he is going to Wrestlemania.

Drew says when someone says the magic word, he has to point at the sign.

MVP says he is so proud of what Drew has accomplished and what he will accomplish. He tells Drew not to listen to the naysayers and what they are saying behind his back. He tells Drew to keep his eyes on the prize.

Drew wants to know if anyone is talking behind his back. Drew wants to know what is MVP talking about. MVP says some people have been saying with all of his tools and attributes, he is not ready to be WWE Champion. MVP says he is not worried about those people. MVP says they will change that.

Drew points out that MVP said ‘we’. Drew wants to know if WE won the Royal Rumble. MVP says WE did not win the Royal Rumble. He says Drew’s best days are ahead of him while MVP says his in ring career is behind him. He says that Drew does not have to deal with all of the distractions. He needs someone to worry about those things for him. You need someone like him.

Drew asks the people what do they think. Drew says there’s the catch. You want to be his business manager. You can be Drew’s advocate. MVP likes that. Maybe MVP can be Drew’s Paul Heyman. Drew says the difference between Brock Lesnar and him is that he doesn’t need an external brain thinking for him. He does not need someone talking for him. He does not need a business partner kissing his ass like MVP.

MVP says he has never been an ass kisser, but he has been an ass kicker. Drew starts to walk away and MVP grabs his arm and says don’t turn your back on him. Drew with a head butt and then MVP goes down. McIntyre removes some clothing and it is time for the countdown: 3… 2… 1… Claymore!

Drew poses in the corner and points up at the WrestleMania sign as his music hits. We go to replays. Drew marches out of the ring and stops to intimidate the guys controlling access to The VIP Lounge. Drew poses on the stage and yells out one more time to end the segment.

– The announcers show us a video package on Randy Orton’s recent attack to WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Orton will be here tonight to explain the attack.

– Still to come, Angel Garza will be in action. Back to commercial.

– We are back and Seth is giving a Sermon on the pallet to his disciples that we cannot hear.

Angel Garza (with Zelina Vega) vs. Cedric Alexander

Before the match, Zelina Vega says she wants to show you why Angel Garza is a man’s man. Angel asks if you saw that. Angel says he is a man’s man because no other man has measured up to him. He says he is a ladies’ man because no woman in the world can resist him.

Humberto Carrillo’s music plays and he makes his way to the ring and he takes Angel down with a double leg take down. Carrillo with another take down and security grabs Carrillo. They take Humberto to the back.

The referee tell Angel to enter the ring and we finally have our match. Vega distracts Cedric and Angel with a forearm to Cedric. Garza with a straitjacket choke. Cedric with a reversal. Garza sends Cedric to the apron but Cedric with a slingshot head scissors. Cedric with a back heel kick and a running back elbow into the corner. Cedric with a drop kick to the back of the head. Cedric with a baseball slide but Garza catches him and hits a gourdbuster on the floor. Garza goes for the mat mometarily but then goes after Cedric and Cedric sends Garza into the ring steps. Garza with a thrust kick as Cedric comes off the the ropes for a springboard move. Garza removes his pants and hits the Wing Clipper for the three count.

Winner: Angel Garza

– We take a look at Charlotte Flair‘s multi-week announcement of her Wrestlemania opponent.

Backstage:

Charly Caruso is in the back with Rhea Ripley. She asks Rhea if she is waiting for an answer from Charlotte. Rhea says she does not wait for things. She gets up and gets out and does what needs to be done. Charly reminds Rhea about her title match on Sunday. Sarah Logan shows up and she asks Rhea if she thinks she can come to Raw and do what she wants. She asks Rhea who does she think she is. Rhea tells Sarah who she is and asks Sarah who is she. We go to commercial.

– Back from the break and Carmella vs. Bayley for the title is confirmed for SmackDown.

Backstage:

Sarah Schreiber is backstage with Lana and Bobby Lashley for comments on tonight’s match with Ricochet. Lana and her “My Bobby” shtick is getting really old and annoying but she continues. Lashley looks like he might be getting annoying too. Lashley says he will reintroduce Ricochet to reality tonight, and he won’t make it to Super ShowDown to face WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. Lashley says Lesnar can thank him for this one. Lana dismisses Schreiber.

Sarah Logan vs. Rhea Ripley

We go back to the ring and out comes Sarah Logan with a mic. She has words for Rhea Ripley and introduces herself. Out next comes the NXT Women’s Champion for a match. Ripley hits the ring but the music interrupts and out comes Charlotte Flair.

Flair waves at Ripley from the stage and tells her to proceed. The bell rings and Logan attacks but Ripley gets the upperhand. Ripley dominates Logan while looking up at Flair. Ripley dropkicks Logan as Flair claps from the stage.

Ripley with a few more shots before hitting the Riptide in the middle of the ring for the squash win.

Winner: Rhea Ripley

After the match, Flair claps from the stage as Ripley stands tall and her music hits. We go to replays. Ripley takes the mic and wants to know where her answer is. Ripley says she’s gone to RAW and Flair to NXT, but still no answer. Flair says maybe that’s just how The Queen operates. Ripley says maybe Flair just likes being a royal pain in her… Flair interrupts and has a question before she answers Ripley’s question. Flair asks how do we know that Ripley will still be the champion after her “Takeover: Portland” match with Bianca Belair this Sunday. Flair throws a “Wooo!” at Ripley from the stage and her music starts up. Ripley raises the title in the air as they stare each other down. The segment ends without an answer to the WrestleMania 36 challenge.

– We are back and we have the announcement that was made earlier today about Wrestlemania 37 in Los Angeles.

Ricochet vs. Bobby Lashley

Bobby Lashley and Lana make their way to the ring. Before Ricochet’s entrance, his interviews backstage by Chalry Caruso. Charly Caruso asks Ricochet about Bobby Lashley’s comments and if he will be at Super Showdown. Ricochet says he has never backed down from a fight and he won’t do it now. He has dreamt about being WWE Champion for 17 years. This scrawny kid has something that will make him last longer. Facing Brock Lesnar is the biggest match of his career. No one will stop him from making it to Super Showdown.

Ricochet with forearms and a running forearm. Ricochet with chops to Lashley. Lashley wtih an Irish whip and Ricochet gets a boot up but Lashley with a clothesline in the corner. Lashley with an Irish whip and Ricochet floats over and Lashley with a shoulder tackle. Lashley presses Ricochet over his head but Ricochet gets back to his feet. Lashley with a back heel kick and Irish whip. Lashley blocks an enzuigiri. Ricochet with a kick and a springboard drop kick that sends Lashley to the floor. Ricochet with a suicide dive.

Ricochet sends Lashley to the floor and Ricochet with a plancha onto Lashley as we go to commercial

We are back and Lashley with an Irish whip that sends Ricochet over the turnbuckles to the floor. Lashley tries to send Ricochet into the ring steps but Ricochet lands on the steps and he kicks Lashley and hits a moonsault onto Lashley. Ricochet goes up top and he goes for an enzuigiri but Lashley blocks it and he sends Ricochet into the ring post. Lashley stands on Ricochet’s head against the ringside barrier. Lashley Irish whips Ricochet into the ringside barrier. Lashley sends Ricochet back into the ring and hits a suplex for a near fall. Lashley works on the neck. Ricochet with punches and Lashley with a knee. Ricochet with a kick and enzuigiri. Ricochet misses an enzuigiri but hits a back kick. Riocchet gets a boot up and he kicks Lashley. Ricochet with a rolling drop kick and a shoulder into the corner. Ricochet with a springboard clothesline and a shooting star press for a near fall.

Ricochet tries to get Lashley up but he cannot do it. Lashley wtih a back drop like maneuver and then Lashley with a spinebuster for a near fall. Lashley puts Ricochet on the turnbuckles and Lashley sets for a belly-to-back superplex but Ricochet lands on his feet. Ricochet with a drop kick into the corner followed by a second one. Ricochet goes up top for a 630 splash for the three count.

Winner: Ricochet

After the match, a furious Lana throws a fit at ringside as Ricochet’s music hits. We go to replays.

– We are back with a look back at the Raw Women’s Title Match and the post match activities involving Shayna Baszler. Tom mentions that Becky has left ‘local medical facility’ and is on her way back to the building.

In the Arena:

Randy Orton makes his way to the ring. Orton enters the ring as fans boo him. He takes his time and looks out around the arena like he did last week. Orton takes t mic and says he still owes everyone an explanation for what he did two weeks ago to WWE Hall of Famer Edge. Orton says what he did to Edge hurt him more than it did Edge. Before he can continue, the music interrupts and out comes Matt Hardy to a pop.

Matt wants to know why Randy did it. We all want to know why you did it. Matt says he knows what Randy is thinking. Why does Matt give a damn about Edge. Matt says we all know the history between Matt and Edge. There was one point in time when no one on Earth hated Edge more than he did. Before all that happened, they were best friends. Himself, Edge, Christian, and his brother all traveled down the road together and even stayed in the same room to save some money.

They were four passionate driven kids who wanted to be WWE Superstars. Matt says they damn sure did. At No Mercy 99, they revolutionized the ladder match. They invented the TLC match. The TLC match became so iconic it will be a staple of the WWE forever. Those kids who had big dreams went to Wrestlemania and they stole the damn show. They didn’t do it alone, they did it together. That means something. Matt says when he saw that Edge had to retire due to injury, all hate and disdain for him was gone. They are very similar. They have a great passion for this. They love performing for the WWE Universe. Matt says he couldn’t imagine if this was taken away from him before he was ready. After Edge retired and they were cool, Edge would mention ‘What If’. Nine years later, he made the most miraculous return. Then you, took that away.

Matt asks Randy what in the hell is wrong with you?

Orton goes to speak but tries for the RKO instead. Matt blocks it and they tangle. Orton blocks a Side Effect and then drops Matt with the RKO in the middle of the ring. Some fans boo as Orton goes to the timekeeper’s area and brings a few steel chairs in the ring. Orton places one chair under Matt’s head and then uses the other chair to smash his head as referees run down. It’s too late. Orton drops the bent chair and stands over Matt as fans continue to boo. Orton rolls out of the ring as referees come in to check on Matt. Fans boo as we go to replays. Orton stops on the stage and turns around as the boos get louder. Orton stares back at the ring as we go to commercial.

– We are back and we take a look back at the return of Ruby Riott to Raw.

Backstage:

Sarah is with Ruby Riott and she is asked why is there animosity towards Liv Morgan. Ruby says Liv was her best friend and best friends know everything about each other. Ruby says she knows the real Liv Morgan. She can change her clothes and make you believe that she has made this metamorphosis. Liv will always be a follower and Ruby says she had to put her in her place. Liv strikes when she says so.

Akira Tozawa vs. Aleister Black

Tozawa avoids a kick and rolls away from Black. Tozawa goes through the legs and Black with a waist lock and back elbow. Black with forearms and an Irish whip. Tozawa gets his boots up for Black and hits a missile drop kick. Tozawa with punches but Black with a pop up knee and then he lifts Tozawa up with his boot and hits Black Mass for the three count.

Winner: Aleister Black

After the match, Black takes the mic and he says he has enjoyed these past few weeks being able to share these intimate moments with all of you and he is appreciative of each and every one of you here tonight. That is what it is all about. Everyone tries to escape their given idea of paradise one way or the other. Black says he knows about rebelling against paradise. Black says he is starting to feel like an animal inside of a cage. For those of you who venture out here, it is not he who is in there with you, it is you who shall be trapped in this metaphoric cage with him.

– We see the ambulance arrive at the building and she did not turn off the engine or siren, but she makes her way into the arena as we go to commercial.

In the Arena:

We are back and Becky Lynch makes her way to the ring. Becky tells Shayna they gave her something nice for the pain so she is back to smash Shayna up. You want to put your hands on the Man and sink your rat teeth into me to get my attention. Becky says she does not care who you hang out with. Becky tells Shayna she will break her down week by week, little by little. You better find me before I find you.

– Samoa Joe and Kevin Owens walk in the back and they are joined by Erik and Ivar. We go to commercial.

Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens and The Viking Raiders vs. Seth Rollins, Murphy and The Authors of Pain

We go back to the ring for tonight’s main event and out comes Samoa Joe, Kevin Owens and The Viking Raiders – Erik and Ivar. Out next comes RAW Tag Team Champions Seth Rollins and Murphy, and The Authors of Pain – Akam and Rezar.

Rollins takes the mic before the match and goes to speak but a big brawl breaks out. Both teams spill out to the floor and keep fighting. Back to commercial before the bell hits.

We are back and the match is joined in progress and Erik tags in and takes Buddy down with a waist lock. Ivar tags in and he connects with a knee. Erik with a knee and Buddy goes down. Ivar with a slam and Joe tags in. Joe with jabs and punches to Buddy. Joe with an Irish whip and shoulder followed by an enzuigiri. Owens tags in and he hits a double jump elbow drop on Murphy and it is time for some crotch chopping. Ivar tags in and Erik tags in. Ivar wit ha slam and Erik slams Ivar onto Murphy for a near fall.

Buddy with a knee and kick. Erik with a hip lock and knee but Akam had made the tag and Akam with punches. Akam with more punches but the referee holds Akam away from Erik. Rezar tags in and he connects with a knee to the head for a near fall. Rezar with forearms across the chest. Seth tags in and Seth with a thrust kick and a reverse chin lock. Buddy tags in and he kicks Erik and runs his boot laces across the face. Erik with a punch and he knocks eveyrone off the apron. Murphy stops Erik from making the tag but Erik floats over and tags in Ivar. Ivar with a shoulder tackle and side slam followed by a cross body.

Ivar with forearms but Murphy with kicks. Ivar with a cartwheel followed by a clothesline. Ivar clotheslines Rollins over the top rope to the floor and then he squares off with Rezar. They exchange punches and Rezar with a shoulder tackle and he gets Ivar up but Ivar escapes. Owens tags in and hits a back senton for a near fall. Rezar with an Irish whip but he misses a splash into the corner. Owens with a swanton for a near fall. Rezar blocks a kick and hits a clothesline. Rezar with punches and forearms to Owens. Akam tags in and he punches Owens. Akam with a reverse chin lock. Owens with elbows and punches followed by a forerm. Owens with an enzuigiri. Rollins tags in and he sends Owens to the floor.

The referee holds Rollins back and Murphy kicks Owens. Akam with a knee and he sends Owens back into the ring. Akam gets a near fall. Akam with a punch and he tags Murphy back in. Murphy with a punch and Owens with punches of his own. Murphy with a knee and he sends Owens to the floor. Rollins with a punch while the referee was dealing with Buddy. Owens with a fallaway slam to Buddy against the ringside barrier. Akam tags in and stops Owens from making the tag and Akam with an elbow drop. Rezar tags in and hits an elbow drop for a near fall. Rezar works on the neck. Akam tags back in and they connect with knees. Owens with forearms but Akam takes Owens down.

Murphy tags in and he connects with knees to the back. Murphy with a side head lock and Owens with elbows but he cannot get out of the hold. Owens punches Rollins and then kicks Murphy and hits a DDT. Joe tags in and he punches Rollins. Joe with an Irish whip and Joe runs into a boot. Jeo with a reverse atomic drop and running boot followed by a back senton. Rollins rolls to the floor and Joe goes for a suicide dive but Akam and Rezar get on the apron to stop Joe. Ivar and Erik knock Akam and Rezar off the apron and then Joe, Erik, and Ivar with stereo suicide dives.

Rollins with a super kick and Joe with a Coquina Clutch. Rollins with a jaw breaker and Joe with a uranage. Owens with a super kick to Murphy. Erik with an exploder to Akam but Rezar with a clothesline to Erik. Ivar takes care of Rezar. Buddy with a flying knee to Ivar. Owens goes up top and he hits a swanton onto everyone not named Seth Rollins or Samoa Joe. Rollins misses Black Out. Murphy tags in and Joe with a Coquina Clutch on Rollins. Joe with a Coquina Clutch to Murphy and Murphy is tapping out but the referee is distracted and he does not see the tap (even if he heard it). Rollins with Black Out and Murphy gets the three count.

Winners: Seth Rollins, Murphy and The Authors of Pain

After the match, the heels immediately retreat up the ramp as Rollins’ music hits. They all stand tall together and stare back at the ring, laughing at the losers of the match. RAW goes off the air.
