Tonight’s WWE NXT “Takeover: Portland” Pre-show opens live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon.
Charly Caruso welcomes us. She’s joined by Sam Roberts and Mansoor, who play the heel & face roles against each other. The panel goes over tonight’s card. We get a video package for Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley. Sam recalls comments he made about Belair not being ready for a Takeover last year, and says she’s ready tonight. Charly leads us to a video for The BroserWeights and they have arrived safely in Portland. Matt Riddle also got their custom golf cart to Portland and Pete Dunne is confused by how he got it done.
Charly shows us video of Poppy and her bizarre zombie band arriving to the arena later today. She will be performing live tonight on the show. We get a video package for Finn Balor vs. Johnny Gargano. We see Gargano arriving earlier today, and Balor. We also get hype for Dakota Kai vs. Tegan Nox and Tommaso Ciampa vs. NXT Champion Adam Cole. The crowd continues to boo Sam and cheer Mansoor when they speak. We get more hype for the show and we see the announcers being introduced. Charly wraps the pre-show.
NXT “Takeover: Portland” Opener:
NXT “Takeover: Portland” event opens up with a video package. We’re live from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon as Poppy and her band perform their “Fill The Crown” single. They go into the “Anything Like Me” song next.
NXT North American Title Match: Dominik Dijakovic vs. Keith Lee
We go right to the ring for tonight’s opener as Mauro Ranallo welcomes us. He’s joined by WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix and Nigel McGuinness. NXT North American Champion Keith Lee is out first to a pop as Alicia Taylor does the introductions. Dominik Dijakovic is out next, wearing a t-shirt in memory of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna. Dijakovic will auction tonight’s ring gear and donate the funds to the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation. Lee stares Dominik down as we get a look at the Spanish announce team. The bell rings and fans start chanting for Lee.
They lock up and Lee with a wrist lock and Dijakovic with a chin lock into a side head lock. Lee blocks a cyclone kick and Dijakovic floats over in the corner but Lee catches him. Lee with a rana. Lee misses chops but Dijakovic misses a kick. Dijakovic with shoulder tackles that have no impact. They go face to face and have words for each other. Lee blocks a chop. Lee with a wrist lock and he elevates Dijakovic. Dijakovic with a chop but Lee holds on to the wrist lock. Dijakovic with a cyclone kick and Lee goes down and to the floor. Dijakovic goes for a Fosbury Flop but Lee catches Dijakovic on the floor and Lee goes for a power bomb onto the apron but Dijakovic escapes. Lee stops short of the ring post. Dijakovic with back heel kicks.
Dijakovic goes for a suplex on the floor and he drops Lee onto the apron and Lee falls to the floor. They return to the ring and Dijakovic with kicks. Dijakovic with an elbow to the back. Dijakovic with forearms as he tells Lee he is going to win the title. Dijakovic with a forearm to the back and a kick to the head. Dijakovic with another forearm that staggers Lee on his knees. Dijakovic with a forearm to the chest against the ropes. Dijakovic sets for a suplex but Lee blocks it. Lee powers out of the hold and he punches Dijakovic. Lee with more punches. Lee with a forearm and a forearm into the corner. Lee with a punch to the midsection followed by an elbow to the back followed by a back breaker. Lee with a German suplex for a near fall.
Lee gets Dijakovic on his shoulders but Dijakovic with elbows to escape. Dijakovic with a kick and Lee with a splash into the corner. Lee with an Irish whip and Dijakovic with a cyclone kick and Lee is down. Dijakovic walks across Lee’s chest and Dijakovic goes up top and hits a corkscrew moonsault for a near fall. Dijakovic tries to get Lee on his shoulders but Lee with elbows to escape. Lee with a back elbow and punch. Dijakovic with a punch and back fist. Lee with a back fist of his own. Both men go for clotheslines and then Dijakovic with a forearm and knees. Dijakovic with a clothesline but Lee stays on his feet. Dijakovic wants him to come at him and Lee with a forearm and then they both try for clotheslines and they fall to their knees.
Dijakovic blocks a few chops and then he hits a clothesline but Lee goes to the apron. Dijakovic tries to send Lee into the turnbuckles but Lee blocks it. Lee sends Dijakovic into the turnbuckles. Lee goes up top and Dijakovic with punches and Dijakovic slams Lee’s head into the top turnbuckle. Dijakovic tries to get Lee on his shoulders and he hits a Super Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Dijakovic with forearms but Lee with a POUNCE that sends Dijakovic into the turnbuckles.
Lee and Dijakovic go to the floor and the referee starts his count. Lee with a forearm and Dijakovic falls into the guardrails. Lee wants the crowd to be quiet as he chops Dijakovic against the guardrails. Lee puts Dijakovic in a chair and he chops Dijakovic again. Dijakovic breaks the referee’s count and Lee pulls Dijakovic to the floor. Dijakovic with a forearm and he puts Lee in a chair. Lee chops Dijakovic but Dijakovic with a super kick and then he goes back into the ring and hits a springboard senton onto Lee.
They are back in the ring and Dijakovic waits for Lee to get back to his feet. Lee gets Dijakovic on his shoulders but Dijakovic with elbows but Lee holds on to Dijakovi and Dijakovic gets to his feet and he hits a super kick. Dijakovic grabs Lee by the throat and Lee grabs Dijakovic by the throat and Dijakovic lands on his feet and then Lee does the same thing. Lee with a Spirit Bomb and Dijakovic pops to his feet on the impact. Dijakovic misses a kick and Lee rolls up Dijakovic and picks him up for another Spirit Bomb but Dijakovic kicks out.
Lee picks up Dijakovic against the turnbuckles. Lee goes to the turnbuckles and Dijakovic with a foerarm that knocks Lee off the turnbuckles and Lee falls to the floor. Lee with a forearm and he goes back to the turnbuckles. Dijakovic with a boot to Lee. Dijakovic climbs the turnbuckles and Dijakovic with a Spanish Fly for a near fall. Dijakovic tries to get Lee up for Feast Your Eyes but Lee is almost out. Dijakovic’s back giives out and Lee hits the Big Bang Catastrophe for the three count.
Winner: Keith Lee
After the match, Lee offers his hand to Dijakovic and they shake. Lee helps Dijakovic up to his feet and they hug. Lee tells Dijakovic to go to the turnbuckles to get the crowd to acknowledge his performance in the match.
– We see Tommaso Ciampa backstage getting ready. Bianca Belair is also shown warming up.
Street Fight: Dakota Kai vs. Tegan Nox
Dakota attacks Nox from behind as Nox makes her way to the ring. Kai tries to send Nox into the rails but Nox blocks it and sends Kai into the rails. Nox spears Kai through the guardrails into the ringside area. Kai with a DDT onto the guardrail.
The match starts and Kai gets a near fall. Kai goes to the floor and sends some chairs and trash cans into the ring. Kai pulls Nox to the floor and sends Tegan into the ring steps. Kai drops Nox on the ring steps and Kai with a kick. Kai upts the leg in the ring step and Kai has a cricket bat and she swings and misses, breaking the bat on the ring post. Nox with a cross body onto Kai. Nox kicks Kai against the ring steps. Nox grabs a trash can and she puts it over Kai and Nox with an inverted senton into the trash can and Nox holds her back. Nox gets a near fall. Tegan goes to the floor and she pulls out a table.
Nox sets up the table on the floor and Nox tries to suplex Kai through the table. Kai blocks it and Kai goes to the floor. Kai puts Nox on the apron and Kai hits Nox with the trash can lid. Kai chokes Nox with her boot. Kai puts Nox in the ropes and Kai with a forearm as Nox hangs on to the ropes in front of the table on the floor. Kai misses a running boot and gets caught in the ropes. Nox with super kicks to Kai and Nox hits Kai with the trash can. Nox with a German suplex onto the trash can for a near fall.
Nox misses a Shiniest Wizard but Kai with a Chirpractor for a near fall. Nox goes to the apron and Kai goes up top. Nox grabs Kai but the throat but Kai with a scorpion kick to knock Nox off the apron. Nox blocks a kick and sends Kai face first into the apron. Nox goes up top and Kai with a boot to stop Nox. Kai sets for a superplex and Nox blocks it but Kai with forearms and Nox grabs Kai by the throat and drops Kai on the mat and Nox with a Molly Go Round for a near fall. Nox sets up a chair in the center of the ring and she has some second thoughts but then she puts Kai’s head in the chair but misses a boot. Kai with a super kick and a kick into the chair in front of Nox’s face.
Kai sends Nox face first into the ring post. Kai gets duct tape and she tapes Nox’s wrist to the turnbuckle. Kai with a Yakuza Kick to Nox. Kai with a second Yakuza Kick and Nox falls to the floor. Kai tells Nox she asked for this. Nox kicks Kai when Kai tries to use a laptop. Nox hits Kai with the laptop. Nox gets a chain from under the ring and brings it into the ring. Nox hits Kai in the injured knee and then Nox punches the knee with the chain. Nox pulls at the knee brace and loosens it.
Nox puts the leg in the chair and Nox stomps on it. Nox with the Shiniest Wizard and then Nox surveys the landscape. Nox says she is not done yet. Nox goes to the floor and brings the table into the ring. Nox sets up the table in the ring. Nox with kicks to Kai. Nox puts Kai on the table. Nox puts the chair around Kai’s neck and then Nox goes up top. Raquel Gonzalez attacks Tegan on the turnbuckles and pushes Kai off the table. Gonzalez choke slams Nox through the table.
Kai pushes the table aside and she gets the three count.
Winner: Dakota Kai
After the match, Gonzalez returns to the ring ans Kai’s music stops. Gonzalez helps Kai up and Kai looks confused as she holds her by her arm. Gonzalez finally raises Kai’s arm in victory and we go to replays.

Johnny Gargano vs. Finn Balor
We go to the ring and out first comes Johnny Gargano. Finn Balor is out next.
Balor and Gargano have some words before the match starts.
They lock up and Balor sends Gargano to the mat. They lock up and Balor with a wrist lock and Gargano with a rollup for a near fall. They have a Greco Roman Knuckle Lock and Gargano with the advantage and he takes Balor to the mat. Balor with a head scissors and he puts his elbow on the neck. Gargano with a head lock. Gargano with a side head lock take down and Balor with a head scissors. Balor does push ups while he has Gargano in the head scissors. Gargano escapes and hits a drop kick and follows with a side head lock take down. Balor with a rollup for a near fall. Gargano floats over and takes Balor down with an arm drag and follows with a drop kick. Gargano goes for a sunset flip but Balor rolls through. Gargano with a kick to Balor. Gargano works on the arm and takes Balor to the mat.
Gargano with a splash onto the arm. Balor with forearms and a back elbow and he gets a near fall. Balor with a forearm and chop in the corner. Balor with a shoulder and chop in the corner. Balor with forearms to the lower back. Balor iwth an Irish whip and running chop. Balor with another Irish whip and chop. Gargano gets his boot up when Balor goes for another running chop. Gargano with chops to Balor. Balor goes to the apron and misses a chop. Gargano goes to the apron as well and Gargano with a spear off the apron.
Gargano sends Balor into the guardrails and chops him against the guardrails. Balor rolls through the ring and back to the floor. Gargano lines up and Balor with Slingblade on the floor. Balor with a knee and they return to the ring. Balor with an elbow to the collarbone. Balor with more elbows to the collarbone. Balor with an arm bar and he runs his forearm across the jaw. Balor with a drop kick to the back of the head for a near fall. Balor uses Gargano’s forearm to add pressure on the chin lock. Gargano with elbows followed by a divorce court. Gargano continues to work on the arm and he applies a hammer lock and he gets a near fall with a rollup. Balor sends Gargano to the apron and Gargano tries for an enzuigiri but Balor blocks it and hits a dragon screw leg whip in the ropes.
Balor with a chop. Balor works on the ankle and he puts his elbow against Gargano’s knee. Gargano applies a cross arm breaker and Balor rolls through and gets a near fall. Balor with kicks. Balor sends Gargano into the corner and works on the legs in the ropes. Gargano with forearms and then Balor with a stomp to the leg in the ropes. Balor puts Gargano’s leg in the ropes and drops a knee on the leg. Balor continues to add pressure to the leg. Gargano tries to send Balor over the top rope to the floor. Gargano with an inside cradle for a near fall. Gargano with a rollup but Balor blocks the round kick. Barlor with a figure four and he adds pressure to the knee using his arms. Balor gets a series of near falls when Gargano feels the pain in the leg.
Gargano with chops and punches to get out of the hold. Balor pulls Gargano out of the corner and Gargano with an enzuigiri. Gargano with a back breaker and a gourdbuster followed by a kick and clothesline. Balor catches Gargano on a suicide dive attempt. Balor goes for a 1916 DDT but Gargano escapes and sends Balor into the ring steps. Gargano with a cannonball off the apron. Gargano with a slingshot spear for a near fall. Gargano puts Balor on the turnbuckles and he tries for the lawn dart but Balor blocks it. Balor with an elevated elbow to the chest and he gets a near fall.
Balor with boots to Gargano and the referee warns Balor. Balor and Gargano go to the floor and Gargano with a super kick. Gargano goes for a slingahot DDT but Balor blocks it. Gargano with a lawn drat but Balor with a boot. Gargano with an enzuigiri. Balor with a Pele Kick but Gargano falls onto Balor and gets a near fall. Gargano is on the apron and he gives Balor a forearm. They go back and forth. They exchange punches and Gargano and Balor both hit enzuigiris. Gargano goes for a slingshot DDT but Balor catches Gargano. Balor misses a springboard double stomp while Gargano is in the ropes. Gargano with a slingshot DDT for a near fall. Balor and Gargano stand on opposite sides of the ring and then Gargano with a forearm and discus clothesline. Gargano sets for a super kick but Balor with a flying elbow. Balor runs into a super kick.
Gargano misses a super kick and Balor with slingblade and a running drop kick. Balor goes up top and misses Coup de Grace. Gargano with a La Mistica into the GargaNo Escape. Balor tries to roll through to escape but Gargano holds on. Balor rolls through and escapes. Balor with a double stomp. Gargano blocks 1916 and reapplies the GargaNo Escape. Balor gets to the ropes. Balor rolls to the floor and Gargano hits a running drop kick that sends Balor into the guardrails. Gargano with a front face lock on Balor and he sees the announce table. Gargano removes the hood from the Spanish Announce Table and Balor with a gourdbuster onto the announce table. Balor gets on the announce table and he Drop kicks Gargano off the announce table into the guardrails.
Balor rolls Gargano back into the ring and Balor goes up top and hits Coup de Grace. Balor looks around and he stands over Gargano. Balor picks up Gargano for the 1916 and hits it for the three count.
Winner: Finn Balor
After the match, Balor stays on top of Gargano as his music hits. Balor holds Gargano by the throat, talks trash and strikes him as the referee backs him away. Balor stands tall as we go to replays. Balor comes back down and walks over Gargano on his way out of the ring. Balor talks more trash to the camera while making his exit.
NXT Women’s Title Match: Bianca Belair vs. Rhea Ripley
We go back to the ring and out first comes Bianca Belair. She stops and spins, showing off the “Black History In The Making” message on the back of her robe. Belair swings her hair and heads to the ring. NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is out next. They have words as Taylor does formal ring introductions.
The bell rings and they size each other up. Ripley with a wrist lock and she adds pressure to the arm. Ripley with an arm bar. Bianca with a wrist lock but Rhea with a head butt. Belair with a waist lock take down. Belair sends Rhea into the turnbuckles. Rhea with an Irish whip and Belair floats over. Rhea kicks Bianca. Ripley with a series of short arm clotheslines followed by a drop kick. Rhea with kicks in the corner. Ripley with a chop in the corner. Rhea misses a chop in the corner but she does not miss a second time. Belair pushes Rhea away and Belair pulls Ripley out of the corner. Bianca with kicks to Rhea and she gets a near fall. Belair with a cravate. Ripley with punches and Belair sends Ripley to the mat. Bianca with a standing moonsault for a near fall.
Belair sends Ripley into the turnbuckles and Belair goes for a suplex but Ripley blocks it. Belair with a suplex for a near fall. Bianca with a full nelson and camel clutch combination. Belair is backed into the corner. Ripley with elbows. Ripley with a back heel kick and Ripley with a back body drop. Ripley with knees and a drop kick. Ripley with a gourdbuster from the electric chair for a near fall. Ripley with the reverse cloverleaf and she panks Bianca. Belair escapes and she sends Ripley into the turnbuckles. Belair gets a near fall. Belair with a spinebuster for a near fall. Belair backs Ripley into the corner and hits a series of shoulders.
Ripley is put on the turnbuckles and Ripley slaps Belair. Bianca slaps back. Rhea with another slap and we have a slap fight. Bianca whips Ripley with her hair. Belair presses Ripley over her head and drops her face first onto the mat. Belair with a handspring moonsault but she lands on Ripley’s knees. Ripley goes for Riptide but Belair escapes. Ripley escapes a KOD attempt. Ripley with a boot to the chest but Belair with a spear and both women are down. Belair and Ripley exchange forearms. Ripley with a kick to the head and Belair with a forearm. Belair with a double chicken wing but Ripley escapes and she kicks Belair.
Belair with a back body drop that sends Ripley to the floor. Belair with a plancha onto Ripley. Ripely avoids a punch and Ripley drops Belair face first onto the ring steps. Belair is sent back into the ring and Belair tries to get out of the ring and she kicks Ripley away. Ripley goes to the floor when Bianca moves. Ripley with a forearm from the apron and she sends Bianca into the turnbuckles. Ripley goes up top for a gourdbuster but Belair blocks it and Belair sets for a superplex. Ripley with a head butt and she goes for a sunset flip power bomb but Belair holds on to the ropes. Ripley with Riptide for the three count.

After the match, Ripley recovers as her music hits. We go to replays. Ripley raises her title but she’s attacked from behind out of nowhere. It’s Charlotte Flair. Flair poses as the crowd goes “Wooo!” at her. Flair takes the mic and says she thought about it and she will see Ripley at WrestleMania. Fans pop as Flair drops the mic. Flair hits Natural Selection on Ripley. Fans boo and cheer as Flair raises the NXT Women’s Title in the air. Flair drops the title on Ripley and makes her exit as the mixed reaction continues. Flair exits the ring but grabs Belair and launches her into the steel steps. The boos get louder now as Flair poses.
NXT Tag Team Titles Match: The BroserWeights vs. The Undisputed Era
Back from a break and out first are NXT Tag Team Champions The Undisputed Era – Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish. Out next are the winners of the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic – The BroserWeights – Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne. They’re riding their custom golf cart with the Dusty Cup in the back. Riddle gets the crowd to sing the “Bobby Fish Fry Fish” song, which also plays on the screen. Fish and O’Reilly rush the golf cart at the entrance and a brawl breaks out.
Fish works over Riddle while Kyle and Dunne fight. Kyle kicks Riddle and Fish punches Dunne.
Riddle and Kyle start things off and Riddle with a waist lock and take down. Riddle with a kick to the chest. Fish tags in and he connects with forearms but Riddle with strikes. Fish with punches and kicks to Riddle. Riddle with a gutwrench suplex and he holds on and rolls through and tags in Dunne and hits the gutwrench. Riddle is flipped over for a corkscrew senton. Dunne with a kick but Fish with a knee to Dunne and a kick to Riddle. Fish with a side head lock and Dunne with a clothesline. Dunne goes after Kyle’s hand and he stomps on the bicep. Dunne with an X Plex to Fish on the apron. Dunne misses a moonsault off the steps but he kicks Kyle and hits an X Plex onto Fish on the apron.
Dunne with a hammer lock and then he works on the other hand and stomps on the elbow. Fish with an Irish whip and Fish kicks Dunne in the leg. Kyle tags in and Dunne with chops. Kyle with kicks and a knee followed by a leg sweep to Dunne. Kyle with a boot to the head and Fish tags in. Fish with a punch to the midsection followed by a knee. Fish with an Irish whip and Dunne fights out of the corner but Fish with a Samoan drop. Kyle tags in and Kyle with a series of strikes. Dunne goes for the ankle and he take Kyle down but Fish tags in and hits a slingshot senton and Fish gets a near fall.
Kyle with a knee and Dunne tags in. Riddle with a knee as Dunne hits a power bomb for a near fall. Riddle tags in and Riddle with a swanton onto Kyle’s knees while Dunne hits a moonsault onto Fish on the floor. Dunne stomps on Fish’s hands but he kicks the post when Fish moves. Kyle blocks a kick and hits a German suplex. Riddle jumps up and Kyle with a German suplex. Riddle with a knee and German suplex. Riddle wtih a clothesline and Riddle with a jumping knee and both men are down.
Riddle with a spear to Fish on the floor and then he spears Kyle. Fish with a clip and Kyle and Bobby hit a DDT and wheelbarrow suplex combination for a near fall. Kyle tags in and Riddle with a double jumping knee and Dunne tags in and he applies a double wrist lock and body scissors. Ktyle with an arm clutch choke and axe but Dunne with a forearm and enzuigiri. Dunne with a cross arm breaker but Kyle rolls through into an ankle lock. Dunne rolls through for an ankle lock. Riddle with an ankle lock on Fish. Dunne adds a grapevine to the leg. Kyle counters into a scoprion death lock . Fish with a sleeper on Riddle. Riddle with a knee to Kyle and everyone is down.
Fish tags in and Dune with a German suplex and he stomps on the hands and hits a round kick. Riddle tags in and Matt goes up top. Dunne gets Fish on his shoudlers and Fish escapes and he sends Dunne into the turnbuckles. Kyle tags in and Kyle with a running knee off the apron to Dunne. Fish with a superplex to Riddle and Kyle with a knee drop to the leg from the turnbuckles. Kyle with a knee bar and Fish keeps Dunne from breaking up the hold. Dunne pulls at the fingers and Dunne with a stomp to Kyle’s hand.
Dunne tags in and Kyle with kicks to the leg while Dunne connects with forearms. Dunne knocks Riddle off the apron and Kyle with a kick to Dunne. Dunne bites the fingers and then pulls at them. Dunne goes for the Bitter End and then Riddle accidentally spears Dunne. Riddle is sent to the apron and Fish tags in and they hit Chasting the Dragon for a near fall. Dunne lands on his feet on a suplex and Riddle tags in. Riddle with a knee to Fish and Riddle and Dunne with a power bomb and knee combination. Dunne and Riddle hit a Bro 2 Sleep and enzuigiri combination for the three count.

After the match, the new champions begin their celebration as fans pop. We go to replays. The BroserWeights stand tall with the titles and pose together.

NXT Championship Match – Adam Cole vs. Tommaso Ciampa
We go to the ring for tonight’s main event and out first comes Tommaso Ciampa. NXT Champion Adam Cole is out next. We get formal ring introductions as they face off and trash talk.
They lock up and Ciampa backs Cole into the ropes and Ciampa with a clean break. Cole with a waist lock and Ciampa with a side head lock. Ciampa holds on to the side head lock when Ciampa tries to send him off the ropes. Cole with a hammer lock. Ciampa with a reversal and side head lock. Ciampa with a shoulder tackle. Ciampa with another side head lock. Cole gets to the floor to avoid Willow’s Bell. Ciampa with a side head lock. Cole with a head scissors and Ciampa escapes and applies another side head lock. Cole with a shoulder tackle and Ciampa sets for a double underhook but Cole escapes. Ciampa with a side head lock take down. Ciampa blocks a head scissors atttempt by Cole. Ciampa is warned by the referee to break. Ciampa with a punch.
Cole with an Irish whip and Ciampa gets his boots up and Cole puts Ciampa in the ropes but misses a lungblower. Ciampa with a back elbow to Cole but Cole with a bicycle kick. Ciampa sends Cole into the ring steps and then into the ring post. Cole is sent over the announce table. Ciampa puts Cole in a chair and Ciampa with a running knee to Cole and then Ciampa pats himself on the back. Ciampa breaks the referee’s count. They go back into the ring but Cole goes to the floor. Ciampa with a drop kick through the ropes. Ciampa hangs Cole over the apron and hits a running knee to the head. Cole rolls to the floor and Ciampa follows.

Ciampa with Willow’s Bell followed by Fairy Tale Ending for a near fall. Cole with a crossface.. Ciampa escapes and applies a crossface. Cole is able to get to the ropes and Ciampa has to release the hold.
Roderick Strong comes to the ring and the referee is distracted.
Ciampa rolls Cole into the ring and Kyle and Fish grab Ciampa and they hit the high low on Ciampa. Fish and Kyle send Ciampa back into the ring and Cole gets a near fall. Cole misses Last Shot and Ciampa sends Cole over the top rope onto Kyle and Bobby. Ciampa with Willow’s Bell to Strong. Ciampa with a corkscrew plancha. Cole with three super kicks and Last Shot for a near fall. Kyle gets the title belt and he puts it in the corner. Kyle distracts the referee and Ciampa hits Cole. CIampa hits the referee when Cole pushes him. Cole with a low blow and Cole goes to the turnbuckles but Ciampa with a kick to the groin. Ciampa with Fairy Tale Ending but the referee is out.
Johnny Gargano comes out and he grabs the belt when Ciampa goes for it. Gargano hits Cole with the belt and Cole rolls onto Ciampa as the referee miraculously recovers to make the three count.

After the match, Gargano marches to the back as The Undisputed Era hits the ring to celebrate with Cole, who raises the title in the air. Gargano looks back at the in-ring celebration. Mauro says something snapped in Gargano after he lost to Finn Balor tonight. We go to replays. NXT “Takeover: Portland” goes off the air with The Undisputed Era sitting on the apron together, talking trash as Cole raises the title.
