The Kabuki Warriors have now officially beaten The IIconics’ record for longest reign with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. They have held the titles for 121 days and counting.
The Women’s Tag Team Championship is still rather new in its history. It is quickly approaching a year since inception as the inaugural champs, The Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection, were crowned at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. Asuka and Kairi Sane have held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship since October. This is where they defeated Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross at Hell in a Cell.
We’ll have to see if WWE is gearing up for their next title defense. Until that happens, The Kabuki Warriors will continue padding their record.
