Charlotte Flair Accepts Rhea Ripley’s Challenge, WrestleMania 36 Match Now Official

Charlotte Flair Accepts Rhea Ripley's Challenge

As seen at tonight’s NXT TakeOver: Portland, Rhea Ripley retained the NXT Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair.

Throughout the match, Belair and Ripley showcased the power and skills that make the two of the best wrestlers in NXT. Belair rocked Ripley with a spinebuster and whipped Ripley with her hair. She then dropped Ripley with a Military Press.

Belair reversed a Riptide, Ripley escaed a Torture Rack and Belair dropped Ripley with a Spear. The champion rocked Belair with a kick but Belair sent her flying to the outside. The challenger dove over the top rope onto Ripley outside the ring. Rhea Ripley pinned Belair after a Riptide to retain the championship.

After the match, Charlotte Flair attacked Ripley from behind. Flair then took the mic and accepted Ripley’s recent challenge for WrestleMania 36. Flair hit Natural Selection on Ripley, and then sent Belair into the steel ring steps on her way out.

WrestleMania 36 will take place on April 5 from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
