Viewership for This Week's NXT and Dynamite Episodes

Viewership for This Week's NXT and Dynamite Episodes
We have to wait until next week for our usual viewership war, as NXT aired a Year-End Award show this week, also featuring the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic bracket reveal, so there was not a real competition.

AEW Dynamite brought in 967,000 viewers, which is up from the 683,000 viewers the show brought in two weeks ago on December 18. AEW did not air a live show last week because of an off-week for Christmas. Additionally, AEW also drew a .36 in the 18-49 key demographic, which is up from the .25 they scored two weeks ago.

By comparison, this week’s episode of NXT brought in 548,000 viewers, compared to 831,000 the show brought in last week. This is the lowest viewership number the show has done since premiering on the USA Network in September, which was expected.

AEW didn’t air a show last week due to the Christmas holiday but Wednesday’s show saw it draw the fourth-highest viewership number since the show premiered on TNT on October 4th. It was also its highest-rated show since October 16th.

The ratings war continues next week as both shows will be live.
