Matt Hardy Quietly Moved to SmackDown?

Matt Hardy Quietly Moved to SmackDown Roster

After spending months on RAW following the last WWE Draft, it looks like Matt Hardy will be back on the blue brand as part of the SmackDown roster.

Hardy was recently moved to the SmackDown roster page without any fanfare, as his switch in brands was not announced through the usual news release on the WWE website.

There was no reason given for the move, though as the publication stressed, the veteran grappler might not be with the company for much longer due to his current contract situation and the rumors regarding his future plans.

Hardy returned to action a few weeks ago but he’s been used to put over younger talent. His WWE contract is set to expire on March 1st and there’s a good chance that he will be leaving the company. Hardy has not shut the door on signing another contract but his main issue is that he wants to be used better since he realizes that his next wrestling contract is likely to be his last one.

In a recent Q&A session, Matt Hardy stated that he thinks he has 3-4 years left if utilized correctly.
