Brock Lesnar returns to WWE TV this Monday night on RAW and there are no hints on who might be his next opponent.
Based on some recent tweets, it looks like Dio Maddin will be stepping in the ring relatively soon. Maddin has been off WWE TV since November when Lesnar attacked him. This was also done to write him off as a commentator since Maddin wants to continue with his wrestling career and Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn were said to not be fans of his work on commentary. Maddin has been training at the Performance Center since he’s been off TV.
Typically, tweets like the ones posted below are storyline driven and oftentimes lead to something so we could see the start of the Maddin-Lesnar feud soon – perhaps as soon as this Monday night on RAW. Lesnar is scheduled to be at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view so it would make sense to kickstart his next feud this Monday.
For what it’s worth, Maddin is one of Paul Heyman’s guys so he will likely be positioned in a good spot on the roster when he finally makes his main roster in-ring debut.
Check out Maddin’s tweets below directed towards Lesnar.
