City of Corbin, KY, Officially Renamed in City of King Corbin (UPDATED)

As noted, WWE’s push to get the city of Corbin, Kentucky, to be renamed King Corbin.

A local news station covered the story and noted that WWE was pushing for this as a marketing campaign to hype up their live events. Their plan to rename the city has worked because Corbin, Kentucky has been renamed to King Corbin, Kentucky in honor of WWE Superstar Baron Corbin.

Kentucky’s WKYT has confirmed that the town was renamed after King Corbin for the day of the live event. Mayor Suzie Razmus made an official proclamation prior to WWE’s show inside the Corbin Arena.
