WWE Trying to Involve Talent in Multiple Storylines at Once, Dynamite & NXT DVR Audience

— When you factor in DVR viewing, AEW Dynamite draws about 1.3 to 1.4 million viewers each week while NXT draws about 1.2 to 1.25 million.

Dynamite is actually the most DVR’d pro wrestling show, even surpassing Raw and Smackdown. However, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that to advertisers, DVR viewers have little to no impact on ad sales as the most valuable audience to the advertisers are those who are watching live as it likely means they are watching all the commercials.

— One idea that is being tried creatively on the Raw side is to have the top superstars involved in two storylines at the same time instead of the traditional one.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that current plans have Humberto Carrillo and Andrade in a program to try and get both over but Andrade also with Rey Mysterio. Mysterio in turn is in a storyline with Seth Rollins & AOP and Rollins with Kevin Owens.
