The Street Profits And The New Day Sign New Multi-Year WWE Contracts

As noted yesterday at this link, SmackDown Tag Team Champion Kofi Kingston revealed on The New Day’s “Feel The Power” podcast that he recently inked a new five-year contract with WWE.

Kofi isn’t the only one to sign a new WWE contract as Big E and Xavier Woods also signed new five-year deals at the same time. WWE Backstage reporter Ryan Satin noted on tonight’s show that all three members of The New Day negotiated their deals for the same pay and the same terms as a way to show solidarity.

It was also reported on tonight’s show that Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have also inked new multi-year deals with WWE. Satin did not confirm the length of the new contracts for The Street Profits, but WWE has been signing talents to five-year deals as of late. Ford and Dawkins are currently working the RAW brand tag team division.

Below is a shot from tonight’s segment on FS1’s Backstage show, along with the WWE announcements:

The New Day agree to matching multi-year extensions with WWE

As first reported on WWE Backstage, The New Day have agreed to matching multi-year extensions with WWE. Kofi Kingston, Big E & Xavier Woods solidified a pact of identical length and compensation on their contracts to maintain equal status among the team.

The news of Kingston’s extension broke on the trio’s weekly podcast The New Day: Feel the Power.

It’s been an eventful year for The New Day, who are in their seventh reign as Tag Team Champions. Kingston & Big E are carrying the titles while Woods is recovering from an Achilles injury. Kingston also delivered one of 2019’s most memorable moments with an emotional WWE Championship victory against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania.

The Street Profits agree to multi-year extensions with WWE

As first reported on WWE Backstage, The Street Profits have agreed to multi-year extensions with WWE.

Since coming to Raw in 2019, The Street Profits have been bringing all that smoke to the red brand. The duo defeated The O.C. in their debut match on Raw and have continued to move up the tag team ranks.

Montez Ford & Angelo Dawkins have also been some of WWE’s most entertaining performers with their backstage breakdowns and a unique spin on the SNL favorite with last week’s “Monday after Weekend Update.” In fact, on this week’s episode of WWE After The Bell, Ford revealed that The Street Profits were born out of an NXT acting class.
