NXT Results - December 4, 2019
Tonight's WWE NXT episode opens up with a video package featuring highlights from last week.



- We're live from the NXT Arena at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL as Mauro Ranallo welcomes us. He goes over tonight's show but he's interrupted by Killian Dain in the ring with a mic.

- We go to the ring and Killian Dain says Damian Priest isn't man enough to fight him, and he's not leaving until someone comes to fight him. Nigel McGuinness and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix are on commentary. Nigel mentions Damian's injured ribs. Out comes Pete Dunne to answer the challenge.

Pete Dunne vs. Killian Dain

Pete Dunne enters the ring and immediately attacks Killian Dain. Dain goes out for a a breather but runs right back in to fight. Dunne counters and delivers a big kick for a pop. Dunne goes to work on Dain's fingers now.

More back and forth between the two. Dunne rocks Dain but gets tossed out to the floor. Dunne with a kick to the head from the floor. Dunne comes back in and goes to the top. Dain takes him down and hits a running crossbody. Dain keeps control and hits a senton next. Dain keeps fighting and keeps Dunne down. Dain chokes Dunne on the ropes now as the referee warns him. Dain grounds Dunne again. Dain with more offense for another 2 count. Dunne fights up and into the corner. Dain comes right back with a running crossbody out of the corner for another 2 count.

Dunne counters and mounts some offense now but Dain is still standing. Dain misses a kick and Dunne rocks him. Dunne with a German suplex for a 2 count. They tangle some more until Dain ends up hitting a big suicide dive to the floor on Dunne. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and we see Dunne hitting a superplex on Dain. Fans chant "BruiserWeight!" now. We see how Dain hurt Dunne's knee during the break. Dunne counters with a tornado DDT now. Dunne stomps on the fingers and kicks Dain in the head for a 2 count. Dunne goes on and hits a big moonsault to Dain on the floor. Fans chant "NXT!" now. Dain catches Dunne on the floor and slams him on the edge of the apron. Dain with a senton on the floor as the referee counts.

Dain places Dunne against the steel ring steps and breaks the count. Dain goes back out and hits a big cannonball into Dunne and the steps. The referee checks on Dunne as we get a replay. Dain brings it back in and splashes Dunne in the corner. Dunne blocks a Vader Bomb with his knees. Dunne goes for a Triangle and elbows now, also working on the fingers. Dain powers up and nails a sitdown powerbomb for a 2 count. Dain goes to the second rope and Dunne follows. Dunne unloads while they're up top. Dunne with a Sleeper now. Dain falls back and slams Dunne to the mat, staying on top of him to get the pin to win.

Winner: Killian Dain

- After the match, Dain recovers and stands tall as his music hits.

- Cathy Kelley is backstage with Dakota Kai. She plans on taking Rhea Ripley out tonight, just like she did that hood rat Mia Yim. We go to commercial.

- Back from the break and out comes The Undisputed Era - NXT Champion Adam Cole, NXT North American Champion and NXT Tag Team Champion Kyle O'Reilly. His tag team partner Bobby Fish is injured and not here this week.

Cole talks about how The Undisputed Era had a November to remember. They took over RAW and SmackDown, then embarrassed them at Survivor Series. He goes on and says they are the Iron Men of NXT. How does NXT re-pay them? By injuring Fish last week, by Keith Lee hitting him with the big Pounce last week. Cole says he is the NXT Champion and he deserves respect. Fans chant for Lee. Cole brings up how Finn Balor turned his back on them last week, kicking him in the face. Cole says they need answers and aren't leaving until they get them. The music hits and out comes Lee instead.

Lee marches to the mic and takes the mic as fans chant for him. O'Reilly takes the mic and starts in on Lee with the others chiming in. Lee says he is a game changer and brags on the GIF of Cole taking the Pounce going viral. Lee says Cole is welcome for that. Lee also mentions WarGames and then says he's deciding which title he wants to take from The Undisputed Era first. Cole threatens to beat him down and end his career. Lee immediately drops Cole with a mic shot to the head. They attack him but he fights back. Lee tosses O'Reilly into Strong as Cole retreats to the floor. Tommaso Ciampa suddenly attacks Cole from behind on the ramp.

Cole is sent back into the ring. Lee goes to powerbomb him but Strong and O'Reilly pull Cole to safety. The Undisputed Era retreats while talking trash, as Lee and Ciampa stand tall in the ring. Ciampa's music plays as he picks up the NXT Title belt that Cole dropped. Fans pop for Ciampa.

- Xia Li is backstage and she's fired up over what happened last week. She tells Shayna Baszler to prepare to fight against a warrior. We go to commercial.

- We are back and KUSHIDA talks about how he broke his wrist against WALTER in his biggest match in NXT. He was told he would be out for two months. He says he spent two months with his family. He says he learned what love is. He wants to give his wife and child a better life. He is doing this for his family. He is back.

Shayna Baszler vs. Xia Li

We go to the ring and out comes Xia Li as Alicia Taylor does the introductions. NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler is out next for this non-title match. She is by herself.

Xia avoids a clothesline and then Xia misses some kicks. Shayna misses a few kicks. Xia with a leg sweep. Shayna with a take down and punches. Shayna avoids a round kick and Shayna goes for the Kirifuta Clutch and Xia escapes. Shayna with a snap mare and Xia has a kick blocked. Xia with a kick to the back of the head. Xia kicks Shayna to the floor. Shayna has Xia in a wrist lock and then she stomps on the elbow. Shayna gets a near fall. Shayna stretches the arm. Shayna blocks a kick and applies a single leg crab.

Xia kicks Shayna away. Xia with a kick to the head and Shayna goes down. Xia with punches and a kick to the midsection. Xia with more punches and kicks. Xia with more kicks after the referee stops her. Shayna sends Xia into the turnbuckles and punches Xia. Shayna puts Xia on the turnbuckles and sets for a gutwrench superplex but Xia with forearms to escape. Xia with a sunset flip and power bomb for a near fall. Xia misses a spinning kick and Shayna with the Kirifuta Clutch and Xia taps out.

Winner: Shayna Baszler

We go to commercial.

- We are back and Kassius Ohno is shown earlier today about how he is a Wrestling Genius. Ohno mentions When Worlds Collide and he says that since he is the greatest British Wrestler, will anyone accept the challenge for a preview match?

The Forgotten Sons vs. Adrian Alanis and Leon Ruff

Blake with forearms to Ruff and he hits a Northern lariat. Cutler with a double stomp to the back while Blake holds Ruff. Cutler with a buckle bomb and Alanis tags in and Alanis with a shoulder. Alianis with forearms and a boot. Cutler with a flying knee to Alanis. Cutler with a German suplex and Blake tags in. Cutler with a stomp while Blake hits a reverse DDT and Blake gets the three count.

Winners: The Forgotten Sons

After the match, Ryker choke slams Ruff onto the apron fro the ring.

- Rhea Ripley gets ready for her match with Dakota Kai as we go to commercial.

Rhea Ripley vs. Dakota Kai

Back from the break and out comes Dakota Kai. She's carrying Tegan Nox's knee brace again this week. Rhea Ripley is out next to a pop.

Ripley takes the mic from the stage and talks about what Kai did at WarGames. She says the funny thing about those setups is right now... the music hits and out comes Mia Yim. Yim rushes the ring and takes Kai down, mounting her with strikes. Kai fights back as they take it to the corner. Yim tosses Kai to the mat as Ripley looks on from the outside. Yim with a big running boot to the face, sending Kai out of the ring to the floor. Ripley tosses her back in.

Kai gets the upperhand on Yim now. Yim turns it around and kicks her in the head several times. Yim takes control on the floor but Kai counters and delivers a kick to the head. Yim launches Kai into the barrier a few more times. Yim takes the fight over to the backstage area. Ripley is shown at ringside when the music of NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler hits. She comes out with Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir as Ripley hits the ring to wait for a fight. Shafir and Duke double team first but Ripley fights. Baszler enters and they brawl now. Baszler goes for the Kirifuda Clutch but Ripley ends up fighting all three of them off. Baszler applies the Kirifuda Clutch as fans chant for Ripley. Ripley fights free again but Baszler gets on her back with the submission, bringing her back down. Duke and Shafir join back in for the triple team as fans do dueling chants. Baszler finally makes Ripley pass out in the Kirifuda Clutch as some fans boo. Referees enter the ring to get Baszler off Ripley. Baszler takes the mic and taunts Ripley. Baszler reveals Ripley will get her title shot on the December 18 episode. The Horsewomen exit the ring as officials check on Ripley.

- Cathy Kelley is backstage with Tommaso Ciampa and Keith Lee. They will team with a partner to face The Undisputed Era in tonight's main event. Dominik Dijakovic appears and it looks like he will be the partner. They walk off together.

- The announcers lead us to a vignette with Finn Balor speaking against NXT Champion Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era. Balor says Undisputed Era has been on quite a roll but last week was a shock to the system. Everyone wants to carry the flag for NXT but there would be no flag if it wasn't for him. Everyone wants a piece of the Prince. They are all playing checkers, he is playing chess. Finn says his future will be his past. Adam Cole, checkmate. Back to commercial.

- We go to Isaiah Scott.for a video package. He says Swerve is calm, cool, collected, confident, electrifying, relentless. He says he moves with the profound flow of the rhythm of the ring. When they ask whose house, they already know the answer.

Kassius Ohno vs. Matt Riddle

They lock up and Ohno with a waist lock. Riddle with a waist lock and wrist lock. Ohno works on the fingers and Riddle with a take down and he goes for the legs. Riddle escapes an ankle lock. Ohno with a wrist lock and take down into an arm bar. Riddle with a waist lock but Ohno blocks a take down. Riddle goes for the legs but Ohno blocks it. Ohno with knees to the midsection. Riddle with punches and Ohno with a cravate. Ohno with a knee to the midsection and Riddle with more punches. Riddle with a deadlift German suplex. Riddle with kicks in the corner.

Riddle with a running forearm and Ohno goes to the floor to avoid a second one. Riddle with a running kick on the apron.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Riddle with kicks to the chest. Riddle with even more kicks. Ohno blocks a kick and then he connects with a boot to the chest. Ohno with forearms in the corner and a slap to the head. Ohno with another forearm in the corner. Ohno with a cravate and Riddle with a body scissors. Ohno with a sit out power bomb for a near fall. Ohno with a Japanese Stranglehold and he sends Riddle to the mat. Riddle rolls through and escapes. Riddle with a back senton and he misses a round kick. Riddle misses a back flip. Ohno grabs the foot and tries to pull at the toes but Riddle with a knee and strikes. Riddle with Bro 2 Sleep and a power bomb followed by Final Flash. Riddle goes up top and hits a twisting senton for a near fall.

Riddle goes for the knee but Ohno with a forearm. Ohno with a cravate and cravate suplex. Ohno sets for a power bomb but Riddle blocks it. Ohno gets Riddle up for a Gotch Neutralizer but Riddle escapes and Riddle goes for a back slide. Riddle with a knee and Bro Derek for the three count.

Winner: Matt Riddle

We go to commercial.

- Back from the break and it's announced that online voting will begin after the show for the NXT Year End Awards 2019.

- We see what happened between Rhea Ripley and the Horsewomen earlier as the announcers hype their title match on December 18.

Kushida vs. Raul Mendoza

We go to the ring and out comes Kushida for his return from a wrist injury. Raul Mendoza is next.

Mendoza is making his way down the ramp when Cameron Grimes flies over out of nowhere, taking Raul down with the big double stomp on the ramp. Kushida is shocked on the apron. Grimes' music hits now as he heads to the ring, apparently to face Kushida.

Mauro says NXT General Manager William Regal has confirmed Kushida vs. Cameron Grimes as the bell hits and they lock up. Grimes drops Kushida first but Kushida comes back with a big kick to send him out of the ring to the floor.

Kushida goes to the top and nails a huge plancha to the floor, taking Grimes down for a big pop. Kushida brings it back into the ring and keeps control in the corner with chops. More back and forth now. Grimes fights off submissions. Kushida gets the Octopus submission on the third try. Kushida takes Grimes to the mat, still in the hold. Grimes gets the bottom rope to break the hold. Kushida with a big kick to Grimes. Grimes blocks a tornado DDT. Grimes catches a handspring back elbow. Grimes with a big German suplex for a 2 count.

Grimes with a sliding knee to the face. Grimes stomps on Kushida's face as the referee warns him now. Grimes takes Kushida back to the mat and focuses on the arm. They trade holds. Kushida avoids a clothesline and hits a big basement dropkick. More back and forth now. Grimes goes for another German but Kushida counters and turns that into a roll-up for the pin to win.

Winner: Kushida

After the match, Kushida immediately goes to the floor to celebrate as the music hits. Grimes can't believe what just happened.

- Still to come, our six-man main event. Back to commercial.

- Back from the break and two matches are announced for next week - Dakota Kai vs. Mia Yim, and Angel Garza vs. NXT Cruiserweight Champion Lio Rush with the title on the line.

Dominik Dijakovic, Keith Lee, and Tommaso Ciampa vs. Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, and Roderick Strong

We go to the ring for tonight's main event and out first come The Undisputed Era - NXT Champion Adam Cole, NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong, and NXT Tag Team Champion Kyle O'Reilly. Keith Lee is out next, followed by Dominik Dijakovic. They wait together on the stage until Tommaso Ciampa makes his way out.

Lee and Strong go at it to start the match. Lee takes it to the corner and in comes Ciampa. Ciampa beats Strong down and unloads with stomps. Ciampa slams Strong and tags in Dijakovic for the double team. Dijakovic beats on Strong but Strong knees him and tags in O'Reilly. O'Reilly with knee strikes. Dijakovic resists and launches O'Reilly across the ring. Dijakovic with elbows and more offense. Dijakovic with a big backbreaker and a second rope splash for a close 2 count on O'Reilly.

Dijakovic runs into a kick from O'Reilly as Strong tags in. Dijakovic doesn't see it as he fights both of them off, using O'Reilly as a battering ram. Dijakovic tosses O'Reilly to the floor after knocking Cole off the apron as well. Dijakovic stands tall while his opponents are down on the outside. Back to commercial.

Back from the break and Strong has Dijakovic grounded. Strong loses control but comes back with a dropkick. Strong taunts Dijakovic and pounds on him some more. Dijakovic hits a huge clothesline out of nowhere. O'Reilly tags in and stops Dijakovic from tagging. It takes all three opponents to stop Dijakovic from tagging out now. O'Reilly ends up dropping Lee off the apron. Dijakovic finally tags Ciampa in as he unloads on all three opponents for pops from the crowd.

Ciampa clotheslines Strong over the top and then tosses O'Reilly over his head. Ciampa goes back and forth on all three opponents, hitting Cole with a draping DDT for a pop. O'Reilly with big strikes on Ciampa but he escapes and hits Project Ciampa for a close 2 count on O'Reilly in the middle of the ring. Strong tags in as Ciampa fights with O'Reilly. Strong with a big knee. Strong and O'Reilly with a High Low on Ciampa but Dijakovic breaks the pin up. Strong and O'Reilly with the big double team on Dijakovic now. Ciampa slides out of a move by Strong. Strong scoops him again with the Gutbuster. Ciampa comes right back with a jumping kick to the face. Strong and Ciampa are both down as the referee checks on them and the crowd rallies.

Lee and Cole tag in at the same time for a pop. Lee unloads on all opponents, and gets a pop for turning Cole inside out. Cole retreats to the floor for a breather. Lee runs the ropes to dive out, but all three opponents scatter. Lee goes to the floor and hits a shoulder on O'Reilly and Strong. Cole drops Lee. Dijakovic dives out and takes them down for a big pop and a "NXT!" chant. O'Reilly goes to the top but Dijakovic stops him and climbs up. Cole stops the superplex. Finn Balor suddenly hits the ring and hits the big dropkick to Cole's back, sending him into the referee and the others in the corner. Fans chant "holy s--t!" now as Balor grabs Ciampa for the 1916 in the middle of the ring. Some fans boo Balor now.

Balor points his guns but Lee grabs him from the side. Balor fights free. Balor charges again but Lee catches him for the big powerbomb in the middle of the ring. Cole superkicks Lee in the face after Balor retreats. Cole drops his knee pad but Lee catches him with the big Jackhammer in the middle of the ring for the pin to win as the referee wakes back up.

Winners: Keith Lee, Tommaso Ciampa and Dominik Dijakovic

After the match, Lee stands tall as his music hits. We go to replays. Balor recovers on the outside and looks on as Lee, Ciampa and Dijakovic celebrate the win. The Undisputed Era is also shown recovering at ringside. Regal appears on the stage and announces another big match for December 18 - Cole will be defending his title against the winner of next week's Triple Threat between Balor, Ciampa and Lee. Balor, Ciampa and Lee trade looks as Lee's music resumes. NXT goes off the air as Cole vents to Strong at ringside.
