As announced on their official website, Killer Kross has finally been granted his release from Impact Wrestling.
“IMPACT Wrestling has come to terms on the release of Kevin Kesar (Killer Kross).”
The wrestling company hadn’t used the star in several months after he had publicly requested his release and spoke about issues he had with management (such as being told to blade without blood testing being done).
No word yet on if he has a timed non-compete clause or if he can sign elsewhere immediately. Kross has stayed active in AAA and on the indie scene, so this will free him up for even more indie dates.
Kross is one of the biggest names available and there has been interest from WWE in the past. All Elite Wrestling would likely want to negotiate with him as well and New Japan Pro Wrestling is also an option so he’s in a great spot.
Kross released a video on social media teasing possible opponents in New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Ring of Honor, WWE, NXT, and All Elite Wrestling. For whatever it’s worth, Kross’ girlfriend, Scarlett Bordeaux, recently signed with WWE.
