Post Wrestling reports that Colt Cabana is now done with Ring of Honor wrestling following last night’s Final Battle pay per view from Baltimore, Maryland.
Cabana has worked with the promotion throughout his illustrious career dating back to 2002, and is a former two-time ROH tag team champion. Reports are that ROH was aware that Cabana’s final date would be Final Battle.
When Cabana returned in 2016 he was mainly utilized as a color-commentator along with head play-by-play man Ian Riccaboni, although he would wrestle occasionally. His work-load certainly increased with ROH’s partner NJPW, where he competed in the New Japan Cup tournament and the World Tag League tournament with partner Toru Yano. He is the current NWA National champion, and will defend that title later this evening.
