WWE Smackdown Results (11/1) - Buffalo, NY

We're live from the KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York as Tom Phillips, Renee Young and Aiden English welcome us to the show.

Tom mentions the travel issues from Saudi Arabia, which is why they are replacing Michael Cole and Corey Graves, and says they will have more on that later.

- We go right to the ring as WWE Champion Brock Lesnar makes his way out with Paul Heyman. Kayla Braxton does the ring introductions.

Heyman says the only way to describe his client’s mood tonight is to educate on the fact that Lesnar is really, really pissed off. Heyman says we must be thinking how is that possible after the most historic moment in combat sports history when his client Brock Lesnar conquered Cain Velasquez. But instead of him talking about that fact, he gives us this ultimate piece of footage as they air the entire match from yesterday’s Crown Jewel.

Back in the arena, Heyman says there it is. His client got revenge by vanquishing Velasquez. And after that came Rey Mysterio. And while not as articulate as he is, the footage speaks for itself as they air clips of Mysterio hitting Brock Lesnar after his match.

After the footage, Heyman says we have a real problem going on. He and Lesnar went to Vince McMahon and said now, just like Rey delivered Cain Velasquez, he will serve Rey Mysterio to Brock Lesnar. Heyman imitates Vince and says “I can’t do that” because Smackdown superstars are contractually obligated to be on Fox and Raw superstars have to be on the USA Network. And since Rey is a Raw superstar, he can’t be on Smackdown. If Mysterio can’t come to Smackdown for Brock Lesnar, as of this Monday, Brock Lesnar is coming to Raw looking for Rey Mysterio. And if anyone has a problem with that, what the hell are they going to do about it? Stop Brock Lesnar when he is looking for revenge? Fine him? Suspend him? Ban him? Threaten him?

Heyman says Brock Lesnar here by quits Smackdown and is showing up this Monday on Raw and he is going hunting for Rey Mysterio. Heyman drops the microphone as the two leave the ring.

- The announcers talk about what just happened. The camera cuts backstage to Lesnar and Heyman exiting the building. We see Triple H and WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is with him. Fans pop as they watch Lesnar and Heyman walk out.

- Still to come, Bayley defends against Nikki Cross. We go to commercial.

The fact is, Miz is everything that is wrong with Raw and Smackdown while he is out there breaking his neck in NXT to prove exactly how good he is. Meanwhile, Miz is out playing actor? Talk show host? While Miz plays the part, he is the part.

Miz says he has heard the same thing happen to him all the time. Miz says when people talk about NXT, people talk about Tomasso Ciampa. But people want to see Ciampa and the Miz battle it out on the mic and he was hoping Ciampa would come out with something more original. Because for 15 years, people told him the same thing.
