Update on EC3, Reason Why he Disappeared From WWE Events

It’s been a while since fans have seen EC3 on WWE television. He also hasn’t been at live events since September.

Dave Meltzer noted in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that he remains out of action after a concussion suffered in September. We don’t know when he will be back.

It’s been a rough year for him as he hasn’t been treated as anything other than an afterthought since he moved up to the main roster earlier this year. Aside from a win over Dean Ambrose, he hasn’t done anything of note on Raw.

He signed a 3-year deal with WWE in January 2018 so he would, in theory, have just over one year left on his contract. However, the time off because of the concussion could mean that more time could be added to his contract.

Although he has not outright said anything negative about WWE, the feeling among some in the company is that he is probably one of the wrestlers who will look at his options when his contract expires.
