The new WWE Intercontinental Title belt was revealed on tonight’s SmackDown episode.
As seen below, Sami Zayn presented champion Shinsuke Nakamura with the new belt during an in-ring segment to celebrate his reign, a gift that Zayn says is because Nakamura is a “stud.”
The belt – which you can see in the tweets below – is a much grander one than the belt that Nakamura currently had. Instead of a white leather, the new belt features black leather, and a seemingly more intricate design on the front. Needless to say, it’s a big upgrade for Nakamura, and a great gift from one of his biggest fans.
Nakamura is set to face WWE United States Champion AJ Styles and WWE NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong in a non-title Triple Threat at Sunday’s WWE Survivor Series pay-per-view.
