As noted, Lars Sullivan succesfully underwent knee surgery in June and was expected to return to action in 6-9 months (December – March).
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, Sullivan’s progress is actually going slower than first expected. At this rate, it is reported that Lars Sullivan’s return to WWE is listed in the Summer of 2020.
Speaking of Samoa Joe, The Samoan Submission Machine is out of action after breaking his thumb and that’s why he’s been appearing during Kickoff Show panels and sporting a cast.
Joe was last seen as a RAW Superstar, but his return will have to wait for at least another month. Even then, it’s not guaranteed that he will be used that soon. Fightful Select noted that Samoa Joe is listed with a December return date. Nothing is set in stone and anything can change. His return might be slated for December, but that’s not definite.
