“Le Champion” Chris Jericho‘s “Thanksgiving Thank You Celebration” kicks off the show with Soul Train Jones in the ring, along with a portrait of the Inner Circle, presents, and some goofy mascots dancing outside the ring.
On the ramp is a marching band as Jericho (with the title and a little bit of the bubbly) heads to the ring. Crowd with a “Thank You, Jericho!” chant.
Jericho tells the crowd to shut up to get those boos going. He then tells the crowd to look under their chairs for a coupon to get fifty cents off his t-shirt. Jericho then shows off his “Little bit of the bubbly” champagne and actually has a website for it. Jericho and Soul Train then try it out. Jericho then brings down Santana, Ortiz, and Sammy Guevara (who come with gifts). Jericho rips on someone in the crowd as they make their way down. Sammy goes to talk and gets booed, Jericho tells them to “shut up!” Sammy thanks Jericho and then has a gift for Jericho. Sammy unveils a cardboard cutout of Jericho and Sammy hugging, then they actually hug.
Santana and Ortiz give some gifts, including something to help him avoid the flu, flip flops, a “little bit of the 40” (crowd chants “40!”), and then they put a Puerto Rico flag banada around his head. Jericho wonders where Jake Hager is. Hager walks up from the back with an actual goat, “Chris Jeri-GOAT.” Jericho finally asks what the giant present in the ring is. The wrapping paper is Jericho with the title. Inside is his dad, a former New York Ranger player. His dad gets on the mic and says “It’s so great to be back in New York City!” Crowd boos, Jericho lets him know they are actually in Chicago, “Let’s go Blackhawks” chant from the crowd. His dad says they beat them all the time and they were brutal.
His dad says the Blackhawks were and always will be wimps! He then gives out Rangers merch to the Inner Circle. Crowd with a “Rangers suck!” chant. Jericho then has an official statement from the higher ups at AEW and TNT. He doesn’t feel like reading though and tells Justin Roberts to get in and read it. Crowd with a “You can’t read!” chant. Jericho says to Roberts, “What’s your name, kid?” Roberts then reads the “thank you,” about all of Jericho’s contributions to AEW. Jericho says he thought it was a nice “thank you,” but didn’t like Roberts tone. Jericho then slaps Roberts and the Inner Circle beat him up a bit. The “marching band” shows up and it’s actually SCU, they clear out the Inner Circle and then take out Soul Train Jones.
– Justin Roberts is out, so Dasha is stepping in to take over ring announcing.
– Best Friends (with Orange Cassidy) head to the ring, but Lucha Bros attack before the match starts. Trent and Taylor fight back, Cassidy goes off the top rope and clears out both guys!
Best Friends vs. Lucha Bros
Lucha Brothers attack The Best Friends as they make their entrance but Orange Cassidy – wearing a turkey suit – dives off the top onto them. In the ring, Best Friends hit corner clotheslines on the Lucha Brothers and then hug.
Taylor and Trent connect with big kicks and knees on Fenix for a nearfall. Pentagon kicks Trent from behind and then they destroy him with Double Superkicks. Pentagon kicks Chucky off the apron and then tags himself into the match. Fenix and Pentagon hit a Wheelbarrow/Somersault Splash combo on Trent for a nearfall.
Fenix holds Trent’s legs up as Pentagon dives off the top with a Guillotine Leg Drop to the balls for a nearfall. Pentagon goes or the Fear Factor but Trent blocks it and tags in Taylor. Taylor this a Standing Sliced Bread on Fenix and then hits a Rolling Armdrag into a Half Crab on Pentagon!
Fenix Superkicks Taylor and then charges at Taylor but gets suplexed into Pentagon in the corner! The brothers roll to the floor and Taylor hits a Somersault Plancha onto them on the floor! Trent goes for a dive but eats a Superkick from Fenix followed by a Mexican Destroyer from Pentagon for a nearfall!
Fenix climbs up top as Pentagon picks up Trent but Oragne Cassidy distracts him allowing Baretta to get a nearfal. Fenix tags back in and hits a Spin Kick to Trent in the corner followed by a Rolling Cutter attempt only to get caught with the Crunchie for the pin!

Apparently Martinez is leaving commentary now. That was absolutely pointless.
Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander vs. Bea Priestley and Emi Sakura
Back and forth action that leads out to the floor. Shida sets up a chair on the outside, Emi gets in the way and drinks some “tea.” Shida shoves her off then hits a leaping knee on Emi. Beat gets back into it, drops Shida and sends her back into the ring.
Back from the break Sakura tries to use her cane but the referee pulls it away and Shida puts her in a Sleeper. Priestley tags herself in and chokes Shida in the corner. Priestley springs to the top and dives but Shida moves and hangs Priestley up in the corner. Shida then suplexes Sakura into Priestley in the corner.
Shida tries to make a tag but Priestley attacks her from behind. Shida hits Priestley with an Enziguri but Priestley comes back with a German Suplex. Priestley hits the ropes but eats a High Knee from Shida. Statlander and Sakura both tag in.
Statlander bridges out of a clothesline attempt from Sakura and then hits a Lariat. Statlander and Shida kick in the corner and then Statlander does the Danny Hodge Special and gets a nearfall. Statlander goes for a Scoop Slam but Sakura counters into an Overdrive. Sakura hits a Body Splash in the corner and then Priestley dives off the top with a Ghetto Stomp to the back!
Sakura hits a Butterfly Backbraker on Statlander for a nearfall. Sakura climbs to the top and attempts a Moonsault but Statlander moves and Shida nails her with a Running Knee followed by a knee from Statlander. Statlander hits an Electric Chair Drop followed by a Scissor’s Kick for a nearfall. Statlander hits a Michinoku Driver but Priestley breaks up her nearfall.
Priestley hits a Backdrop Driver and Sakura hits her with the cane from behind as the referee was distracted and rolls her up for the pin.
Winners: Sakura & Priestley
– Jon Moxley cuts a promo backstage and says that his goal to be the “last man standing” in AEW continues. He says most people will just sit and hope that he never comes for them but he wants to find a person that’s willing to show how crazy they are and get in the ring with him. He issues another open challenge.
Cody Rhodes vs. Matt Knicks
Cody Rhodes trips Knicks and then puts him in a side headlock. Knicks kicks Rhodes in the ribs – which are taped up – and then eats a Springboard Cutter from Rhodes! Rhodes puts Knicks in the Figure Four and Knicks taps.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
Rhodes grabs a microphone after the match and says he and MJF don’t have to wait and challenges him to come out. A man cuts a hole in the ring canvas and appears wearing a mask. He takes the mask off and Excalibur says he’s called “The Blade.” Another huge guy called “The Butcher” comes through the hole and they lay Rhodes out. Allie then appears out of the hole and they pull her into the ring.
PAC vs. Kenny Omega
This is a rematch from “All Out” and PAC is currently the No. 1 ranked male singles wrestler in AEW. Omega is No. 4 currently.
They lockup and PAC forces Omega into the corner but shoves Omega instead of breaking clean. Omega runs over PAC with a shoulder block and then ducks under a leapfrog from PAC. PAC flips over a monkey flip attempt but eats a Basement Dropkick from Omega.
Omega goes for a Leg Lariat but PAC blocks it only to eat a Snap Dragon! Omega hits a Buckle Bomb and then a Sky High for a nearfall. PAC rolls to the floor and Omega follows him with a Somersault Plancha! Omega rolls PAC back into the ring and sells his back like he hurt it on the dive.
PAC kicks Omega off the apron and sends him into the guardrail. PAC rolls Omega back into the ring and elbows Omega repeatedly only to eat a Snap Dragon out of nowhere!
PAC again tries to roll to the floor but Omega stops him on the apron. Omega attempts to German Superplex PAC off the apron but PAC blocks it and elbows him off the apron. PAC dives off the top with a gorgeous Diving Moonsault onto Omega on the floor!
During the break PAC got a nearfall on Omega with a Missile Dropkick. Omega and PAC exchange strikes until Omega destroys PAC with a Mafia Kick sending him into the turnbuckles. Omega hits a series of Polish Hammer’s for a nearfall.
Omega hits a Fisherman’s Buster for another nearfall and then lights PAC up with Knife Edge Chops. Omega goes for a Fireman’s Carry but PAC blocks it and connects with a Pump Kick and a Superkick. PAC goes for a Lariat but Omega catches him with a Bicycle Knee. Omega hits the ropes but runs right into a Lariat from PAC!
PAC lifts Omega up to the top rope and hits a Super Falcon’s Arrow! 1…2…NO Omega kicks out! PAC climbs up top and attempts a Black Arrow, but Omega rolls out of the way and connects with the V-Trigger!
Omega goes for the One Winged Angel but PAC counters it into a Brainbuster attempt. Omega couners into a rollup but PAC counters into a Crucifix. Omega kicks out and counters it into a pin of his own for the 1-2-3!
Winner: Kenny Omega
MJF (with Wardlow) vs. Adam Page (Winner receives the AEW Diamond Ring)
Commentary announces this will be an annual match in regards to who gets the ring for the year. Page goes to work on MJF right off the bat, gets out of the ring. Page looks to fly, but Wardlow gets in the way. Page comes out to the floor and throws MJF into the barricade. Page stares at Wardlow for a moment, goes to get back in the ring, Wardlow grabs his foot, Page jaws at him. MJF distracts the referee, Wardlow ends up sending Page into the ring post.
MJF eats a Fall Away Slam from Page and then Page clotheslines him to the floor. Page hits a Tope Suicida onto MJF on the floor and then pulls out some “Cowboy shit” as he hits a Moonsault off the top onto MJF on the floor!
Page tosses MJF in the ring and sets up for the Buckshot Lariat but MJF pulls the referee in to stop Page. Page pokes MJF in the eyes but then eats a Spinning Clothesline from Page for a nearfall.
Page eats a boot to the face from MJF and then MJF goes for the Heatseeker on the apron but Page shrugs him off and hits the Buckshot Lariat! 1..2..NO Wardlow puts MJF’s foot on the bottom rope. Page argues with the referee and then eats a right hand from Wardlow as MJF distracted the referee. MJF hits the Crossrhodes and gets the pin.
Winner: MJF
Diamond Dallas Page comes down to the ring to present MJF with the Dynamite Diamond Ring. DDP hands the diamond ring to MJF as an “asshole” chant breaks out. DDP says that MJF’s actions recently have been disappointing to him but tonight he is the man and offers him a handshake since he’s the bigger man.
MJF spits his gum in DDP’s hand and DDP gets in his face. Wardlow gets between them and dares DDP to do something. DDP says Wardlow would look real stupid when a 60-year old man kicks his ass all over Chicago. Security runs out and gets between them before anything can happen.
– Dustin Rhodes comes out for a promo and says he wants Jake Hager’s blood. The Inner Circle run out and lay out Rhodes. The Young Bucks run out and make the save. They hit a Superkick Party on Guevara and Rhodes shatters PNP and Guevara’s dreams with a kick to the balls!
– Another Dark Order vignette airs. The fat guy from last week is shown arriving to a meeting in a basement. The Dark Order preach to the people at the meeting. Stu Grayson was evidently Evil Uno’s first “pupil.” They never show Uno’s face but he is preaching to the crowd without his mask on.
Chris Jericho (c) vs. Scorpio Sky (AEW World Championship)
Commentary notes nobody is allowed at ringside for this match. Jericho able to drop Sky and does some very early taunting. Crowd with a “stupid idiot” chant. Jericho with a head lock, “Who’s an idiot now!?” Jericho with a couple shoulder tackles, but Sky hits a dropkick, then clotheslines Jericho out of the ring, Sky to the floor, hits another boot to the face. Back in the ring, Sky with a sunset flip, two. Back and forth action, Sky ends up on the apron, Jericho with a dropkick that send Sky to the floor.
Sky hits a cutter on Jericho, chops to the chest, but Jericho is able to lock in the liontamer. Sky is able to make his way to the bottom rope though for the break. Aubrey Edwards has to physically stop Jericho who then gets in her face. Sky with a cutter and goes into a dragon sleeper. Jake Hager runs down and jumps on the apron, Sky knocks him, Jericho with a roll-up for two. Double clothesline by both wrestlers. Now Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Daniels go after Hager and force him backstage. Edwards is distracted, Jericho grabs the title, swings, misses, Sky with TKO, cover, two! Sky thought that was it.
Sky with some punches, charges in, eats a boot, Jericho up to the second rope, but Sky with a standing hurricanrana, cover, two. Sky leaps off the second rope and takes a codebreaker, pin, two-count. Jericho tries for judas effect, no, roll-up, two. Jericho able to lock in the liontamer in the middle of the ring, Sky taps out.
Winner: Chris Jericho
After the match, Jericho goes back to Sky and really locks in the liontamer. Jon Moxley’s music then hits and Moxley comes out in the crowd and just stares at Jericho. Jericho barks at Moxley, gets his title and taunts Moxley a bit. Moxley finally makes his way closer to the ring as the show comes to a close.
