Tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite could be moved to truTV.
TBS is airing back-to-back Major League Baseball playoff games tonight and that might have ramifications on where All Elite Wrestling airs tonight.
As reported by Voices of Wrestling, if the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves playoff game runs long it will get shifted to airing on TNT rather than TBS. This is so the Washington Nationals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers game can air on time (which is scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m.).
This is a problem for AEW Dynamite as the show is set to air live at 8 p.m. ET on TNT. The current solution is that AEW would be shifted to one of Turner’s other programming stations, TruTV, in full. Those that don’t have the station will be glad to know that AEW Dynamite will reair from 10 p.m. to midnight on TNT regardless of what happens. So you can catch the show even if it gets preempted by playoff baseball.
This is a rough curve ball for AEW to get in their second week of television, but it might wind up being a non-factor.

UPDATE: The St. Louis Cardinals vs. Atlanta Braves game is currently airing on TBS. That is followed by the Washington Nationals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers at 8:30 pm eastern on TBS.
However, if the Cardinals/Braves game (TBS) does not end before 8:30 pm eastern then the second game (Nationals/Dodgers) will be moved to TNT. That would directly affect AEW Dynamite.
The plan, according to the truTV schedule on their website and the TNT website schedule, is for AEW to air on both TNT and truTV at the same time from 8 to 10 pm.
If the first baseball game goes long then a portion of AEW Dynamite (on TNT) will be interrupted until the game ends. TNT will return to airing Dynamite as soon as the Cardinals/Braves game ends and Nationals/Dodgers will move to TBS. If the Cardinals/Braves ends before 8:30 pm eastern then you have the option of watching the entire 2 hours Dynamite on TNT or truTV. Either way, the entire 2 hours will air on uninterrupted on truTV starting at 8 pm eastern.
