A video package with recent highlights airs on the big screen as singer & YouTube star Poppy performs her “I Disagree” single on the stage along with her band.

Io Shirai vs. Candice LeRae

Poppy goes right into her “Scary Mask” single for Io Shirai’s entrance as she makes her way to the ring for a pop. This is the same song that was used for a video package on Shirai to hype her “Takeover: Toronto 2019” match with Candice LeRae back in August. Poppy heads to the ring with Shirai while performing and they pose in the middle of the ring as fans cheer. LeRae is out next as Alicia Taylor does the introductions.

The bell rings and they go at it. Shirai with momentum now. Shirai hits a big suicide dive to the floor but Candice comes right back with a dive of her own for another pop. They bring it back in and Candice mounts offense. Candice drops Shirai with a big kick for 2 count. Shirai goes on and drops Candice out of the corner for another close 2 count. Shirai keeps control and tries to put Candice away once again. Shirai keeps Candice grounded as fans try to rally. Candice tries to fight up but Shirai slams her back to the mat. Shirai with a dropkick now.

Fans do dueling chants as Shirai keeps control and kicks Candice around. Candice gets up and fires back with strikes while they’re standing. Candice rolls her up for a 2 count. Candice with a chop and more offense. Shirai with an impressive counter but Candice nails an enziguri for a 2 count. Candice’s nose is bleeding now.

Shirai blocks a suplex on the apron and they tangle. Shirai kicks Candice in the face but Candice fights back. Shirai manhandles Candice on the apron some as the referee warns her. Candice blocks a German suplex on the apron, then back elbows Shirai into the ring. Candice goes to the top but Shirai rocks her with a right. They end up on the top and Candice shoves Shirai to the mat. Shirai charges back up and shoves Candice from the top turnbuckle out to the floor. Candice lands hard on the outside and we go back to commercial.

We come back from the break to see both women down. They get to their feet and LeRae clotheslines her down. LeRae hits the ropes and hits a running dropkick to knock Shirai to the corner. LeRae hits an avalanche in the corner and goes to the second rope for a big tornado DDT, which gets her a near fall. LeRae gets her on the second rope for a swinging neckbreaker, but Shirai throws her down to the mat. Shirai goes for a moonsault, but LeRae gets her knees up. LeRae punches away at her and catches her with an inside cradle for a two count. Shirai uppercuts her and applies a head-scissor submission. LeRae struggles and barely gets to the bottom rope.

Shirai goes under the ring and grabs a chair. Shirai goes to hit her with the chair, but the referee takes it away. LeRae rolls her up for a near fall. LeRae quickly follows up with a double chickenwing facebuster before kicking her in the face. LeRae goes for a springboard moonsault, but Shirai moves and LeRae lands face-first on the steel chair! Shirai quickly covers her for the win!

Winner: Io Shirai

Shirai continues to attack LeRae after the match and grabs the steel chair. Rhea Ripley quickly runs down and kicks the chair out of Shirai’s hands. Ripley takes her down and grabs the chair. Ripley swings, but Shirai escapes the ring.

– Tonight’s main event will be Matt Riddle and Keith Lee taking on Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly of the Undisputed ERA in a non-title match.

– Video Package: The world reacts to Finn Balor’s tun on Johnny Gargano

– We’ll hear from Balor, next. Back to commercial.

– We are back with a look at Pete Dunne and Damian Priest from a few weeks ago.

– Next week, Pete and Damian will meet again. Finn Balor makes his way to the ring and when he does his first pose to the lights, he turns them into finger guns.

In the Arena:

Finn Balor makes his way to the ring and takes the mic. Balor says it’s funny how things work out. Two months ago, he is laying down for what is the hottest thing in the business because he put on a new mask. Finn says he took off his mask and he is the hottest thing in the business. As usual, everybody has their opinions. The fans got their opinions. The office got their opinions. The boys in the back got their opinions. A bunch of Twitter tough guys out there. The problem is that there are too many fans in the locker room and they should be sitting out here. Finn says he does not watch this business, this business watches him. This brings him to Johnny Gargano. Finn congratulates Johnny for getting out of the hospital, but if he wants his go, he will be sent back. He will go from Johnny Wrestling to Johnny Watches Wrestling… like it should be.

– We take a look at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Kairi Sane and Asuka. We go to commercial.

– We are back with a video package for Tyler Bate.

Shane Thorne vs. Bronson Reed

Thorne with a drop kick as the bell rings and he follows with a second one. Thorne with a cannonball into the turnbuckles. Thorne charges at Reed but Reed with a clothesline and back senton. Thorne with a chop and Reed chops back. They go back and forth. They continue the chop exchange. Reed with a forearm to Thorne but Thorne with a round kick to the temple followed by a Saito suplex for a near fall. Thorne with kicks to Reed’s chest and the lower back. Thorne with more kicks. Reed blocks a kick and Reed with a punch and clothesline. Reed floats over and hits a German suplex followed by rear tombstone for a near fall.

The straps go down and Reed goes up top. Thorne with a round kick to stop Reed. Thorne goes up top and hits Reed. Reed pushes Thorne to the mat when Thorne goes for a Frankensteiner. Reed with a frog splash for the three count.

Winner: Bronson Reed

Backstage:

We go to Cathy Kelley in the back with Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai. She asks Tegan and Dakota for their thoughts. Dakota says they have worked hard to come back from injury and they are going to bring the fight to the Kabuki Warriors. Tegan says she is looking forward to winning the titles with her best friend.

We go to commercial.

– We are back with a video package for Mia Yim.

Tegan Nox and Dakota Kai vs. Kairi Sane and Asuka for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships

Asuka and Tegan start things off and they lock up. Asuka with a side head lock. Asuka kicks Tegan when Tegan tries to roll through. Kairi tags in and she chops Tegan. Sane with another chop. Tegan with a chop of her own. Sane chops back. They go back and forth. Sane stomps on the foot and sends Nox to the mat. Nox with a drop kick and then Kai with a drop kick to Asuka. Nox and Sane go to the floor and Asuka takes care of Kai but Nox takes care of Asuka. Sane sends Nox into the ring steps as we go to commercial.

We are back and Nox sends Asuka to the mat and Kai tags in. Kai with a forearm and Nox with an uppercut. Kai with a leg sweep and Nox with a back senton into the corner. Kai gets a near fall. Kai with an arm drag or two. Kai with a snap mare and kick for a near fall. Asuka blocks a kick and hits a dragon screw leg whip in the ropes. Asuka with a running hip attack to send Kai to the floor. Asuka goes to the floor and she forces Nox back. Asuka sends Kai into the ring. Asuka stands on Kai’s neck and kicks her in the head. Asuka with a knee bar but Kai kicks Asuka. Asuka kicks back.

Asuka turns it into an ankle lock. Kai escapes but Asuka kicks Kai after avoiding an enzuigiri. Asuka ties up the injured leg in the ropes. Sane tags in.and punches Kai. Sane sets for the Sliding De and hits it after swinging at Nox. Sane gets a near fall. Sane with a stretch muffler. Sane then puts the legs in a figure four. Sane kicks Kai in the knee and tags in Asuka.

Asuka with an figure four on the legs and a chin lock. Kai with a rollup for a near fall. Asuka punches Kai and then Asuka kicks Kai in the leg and pulls her to the corner. Sane tags in and blocks Kai’s path to the corner. Kai with forearms and Sane wants more. Sane and Kai with forearms as they go back and forth. Sane with a palm strike. Sane with a snap mare and figure four head scissors. Sane drives the back of Kai’s head into the mat. Kai bridges and gets a near fall. Sane with a kick to the back of the head and Asuka tags in. They sends Kai into the mat as they continue to work on the knees. Asuka kicks at the head. Kai with forearms and Asuka with kicks. Asuka with a snap mare and kick to the back.

Asuka with another kick to the back and Asuka gets a near fall. Asuka chokes Kai in the ropes. Asuka with a kick to the head. Asuka with Kawada kicks to Kai. Asuka stretches the leg as we go to commercial.

We are back and Sane gets a near fall on Kai. Asuka tags back in and Asuka sends Kai to the mat. Asuka goes for a Boston Crab and after Kai fights it off for a moment, Asuka locks it in but Sane tags in and the referee does not allow it. Sane taga in and Asuka with a Codebreaker followed by a neck breaker from Sane. Sane with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Sane punches Kai after Kai goes to the wrong corner. Kai with forearms to get out of the corner Sane is sent to the floor and Kai crawls across the ring but Sane gets in the way and stops Kai. Kai with a scorpion kick and both women are down. Nox and Asuka tag in.

Nox with clotheslines to Asuka and a choke slam to Sane. Nox with running European uppercuts to Sane and Asuka. Sane accidentally clotheslines Asuka. Nox goes up top and hits a cross body on Asuka for a near fall. Nox goes for the Shiniest Wizarda dn Asuka with a knee bar. Nox tries to get to the ropes as Asuka grapevines the leg. Nox with a cross arm breaker on Asuka but Sane kicks Nox. Kai with a kick to Sane but Asuka with a German suplex to Kai. Nox with a super kick to Asuka and all four women are down.

Kai tags in and she connects with forearms to Asuka and a hesitation knee to the chest. Kai with a running boot from second base. Kai gets Asuka on her shoulders but Asuka with the mist to the eyes while the referee was not looking. Asuka with a round kick. Asuka with a hip attack to knock Nox off the apron. Sane with the InSane Elbow for the three count.

Winners: Asuka and Kairi Sane

After the match, Asuka and Sane stand tall as their music hits. We go to replays. Asuka and Sane make their exits with the titles.

Nox and Kai are in the ring recovering now when the music hits. Out comes Marina Shafir, Jessamyn Duke and NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler. Nox immediately attacks Baszler as the Horsewomen enter the ring but Duke and Shafir quickly double team her. Nox fights them off but she gets beat down as Baszler also nails a big kick, then kicks Kai out of the ring. Duke and Shafir hold Nox down on the mat as Baszler gets ready to injure her. The music hits and out comes Rhea Ripley to the stage. Ripley stares them down from the stage, and slowly walks down the ramp as Duke and Shafir take Nox to the floor while Baszler stands in the ring and waits for Ripley to come fight. Io Shirai runs down out of nowhere and drops Ripley at ringside and they brawl. Bianca Belair and Candice LeRae also get involved. Baszler and Ripley are the only two Superstars left standing. They stare each other down and Ripley enters the ring. Baszler and Ripley go at it now. The other Superstars hit the ring as the brawl continues. Security and others run down from backstage to break it up.

NXT General Manager William Regal appears on the platform near the announcers and says there’s only one solution for this – WarGames. Fans go wild at the announcement of the first-ever women’s WarGames match. There’s more brawling as the two sides are separated and stare each other down. Back to commercial.

– We are back and we take a look at everything that happened leading into William Regal’s announcement of a Women’s War Games match.

Tyler Bate vs. Cameron Grimes

They lock up and Bate with a wrist lock. Grimes with a back drop and Bate lands on his feet. Bate with a cartwheel to stay on his feet. Grimes with a wrist lock and take down. Grimes with a reversal and he sits down on the arm to add pressure. Grimes misses a forearm and Bate with an arm drag into a wrist lock. Grimes with a rake of the eyes and he misses a forearm. Bate with an arm drag into an arm bar. Bate with a wrist lock and arm drag. Grimes with a head scissors. Bate escapes and hits a drop kick. Bate gets Grimes on his shoulders for an airplane spin. Bate drop kicks Grimes to the floor. Bate is caught by Grimes for a satellite side slam for a near fall.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Grimes runs into a boot. Grimes catches Bate off the turnbuckles. Bate goes through the legs but Grimes with a back flip into a German suplex for a near fall. Grimes with a sliding knee to the head followed by two more. Grimes gets a near fall. Grimes with a hammer lock into an arm bar take down. Bate backs Grimes into the turnbuckles but Grimes takes Bate to the mat. Bate with a kick to the head. Bate with a knee lift in the corner followed by a European uppercut from the turnbuckles. Bate with a clothesline and forearms followed by a European uppercut. Bate with an exploder and Bate with a shooting star press for a near fall. Grimes rolls to the apron and then goes to the floor.

Bate with a waist lock and Grimes with a standing switch. Grimes gets Bate on his shoulders but Bate counters into a rana for a near fall. Tyler sets for the Tyler Driver 97 but Grimes with a back body drop. Grimes with a forearm and Bate with a forearm. Grimes with Collison Course for a near fall. Grimes gets Bate up but Bate with a rollup and then he hits the rebound lariat with a jackknife cover for a near fall. Bate sets for Tyler Driver 97 but Grimes backs Bate into the ropes. Grimes tries to go to the floor but Bate pulls Grimes back in and Bate goes for a deadlift German suplex but Grimes with elbows. Bate clotheslines Grimes over the top rope to the floor. Bate with a rolling kick and plancha onto Grimes.

Bate sends Grimes into the ring but Killian Dain shows up in the crowd and Grimes hits the Cave In for the three count.

Winner: Cameron Grimes

After the match, Dain enters the ring and hits a back senton. Dain with a cannonball to Bate against the ring steps. Dain tells Bate to tell his friend Pete Dunne that they have unfinished business.

– We see Matt Riddle and Keith Lee getting ready in the back. We see Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly getting ready for their match. We go to commercial.

– We are back with a video feature on Angel Garza. He mentions his family members. He says he is blessed that his family has trained him since he was 10. He says he wants to be like his uncle and do everything that he did and more. He wants to do it for his family and everyone to prove the power of the Garza Dynasty.

– Cathy Kelley is on the Game Balcony and she mentions Shayna Baszler and Rhea Ripley are the team captains for War Games.

Keith Lee and Matt Riddle vs. Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish

Fish goes after Riddle and sends him to the floor. Kyle and Bobby work over Lee but Lee sends Kyle into Bobby. Lee with a double leap frog and a double cross body. Lee and Fish are in the ring and Kyle holds on to Bobby. Bobby and Kyle pull down the ropes and Lee stops short. Lee knocks Kyle off the apron and Fish goes to the floor to check on Kyle. Riddle kicks Kyle and Fish backs up. Fish gets back into the ring and Lee with a shoulder tackle. Riddle tags in and he chops Fish. Riddle lets Lee chops Fish. Riddle holds Kyle for Lee to chop him. Riddle with a spear to Kyle and then Riddle with a jackhammer to Fish for a near fall.

Riddle wit more chops to Fish and Lee tags in. Fish with a forearm and Riddle tells Fish to do it again and Lee does not show any effect. Lee with a forearm and Riddle approves. Lee with a wrist lock and Fish with elbows but Lee holds on to the wrist lock. Lee lifts Bobby in the air and brings him back to the mat. Kyle tags in and Lee with a shoulder tackle to Kyle. Lee with a wrist lock and Kyle with forearms but Lee lifts Kyle in the air by the wrist. Kyle with forearms and Lee lifts Kyle in the air again and sends Kyle into Bobby when Bobby tries to interfere.

Lee tosses Fish onto Kyle. Riddle tags in and he kicks Fish. Riddle with strikes but Fish with a kick and Fish with kicks to Riddle. Fish with a forearm and kicks to Riddle but Riddle with a gutwrench suplex and he holds on and hits a second one. Riddle gets Kyle and hits a gutwrench suplex. Fish with a running forearm and he sends Riddle into the corner. Kyle tags in and he connects with knees and forearms. Kyle with a running boot and Fish tags in. Fish with punches. Kyle tags in and they hit a double suplex for a near fall. Kyle with elbows to Riddle’s ribs and follows with knees and a sliding knee to the ribs.

Fish tags in and hits a slingshot senton for a near fall. Fish with knees and a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Fish with a body scissors and rear chin lock. Riddle gets to his feet but Fish with a forearm to the chest. Riddle with strikes and a sleeper on Fish. Fish backs Riddle into the corner to escape. Kyle tags in and Fish is sent to the apron. Kyle misses Riddle with a running boot and knocks Fish off the apron. Kyle with a heel hook but Riddle kicks out of the hold. Riddle with a drop kick to escape and Fish with a leg sweep to knock Lee off the apron. Kyle with a foerarm and running boot to Riddle.

Riddle kicks Fish and Kyle. Riddle with a double jumping knee but Fish and Kyle with a double pop up kick followed by Chasing the Dragon but Lee breaks up the cover. Kyle with a guillotine but Riddle gets to his feet. Fish hits Lee on the apron and Lee is not happy. Riddle kicks Fish and Kyle with a German suplex but Riddle lands on his feet. Lee tags in and he clotheslines Kyle and Bobby. Lee with an elbow to Kyle. Lee with splashes to Kyle and Bobby. Lee runs through a double kick and hits a double clothesline.

Lee with a double back body drop. Lee gets Fish up for a power bomb but Kyle with a leg sweep and Fish with a seated splash. Lee with a pop up choke slam. Lee goes to the turnbuckles and Kyle tries to stop him. Lee knocks Kyle off the turnbuckles. Lee misses a moonsault when Fish moves. Kyle with Axe and Smash and Fish with a Samoan drop. Kyle gets a near fall. Kyle goes for the cross arm breaker. Lee picks up Kyle and Lee hits a power bomb. Riddle and Fish tag in and Riddle with kicks and a forearm. Riddle with a pele kick to Kyle followed by a forearm to Fish and an exploder. Riddle with an exploder to Kyle followed by back sentons. Riddle with a German suplex to Fish.

Adam Cole and Roderick Strong try to interfere but Riddle stops them. Riddle is sent to the apron and he kicks Cole. Kyle goes to the floor. Riddle with a twisting Asai Moonsault onto all four members of Undisputed Era. Fish is sent into the ring and Riddle with a knee.Lee with a POUNCE to Cole that sends him into Strong. Riddle goes for a power bomb but Fish lands on his feet. Kyle and Bobby with Total Elimination for the three count.

Winners: Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish

After the match, the music hits as The Undisputed Era stand tall and raises all of the NXT gold in the air. They attack Lee and then Riddle. The music hits and out comes Tommaso Ciampa to a big pop. Ciampa runs down the ramp with his crutch and drops O’Reilly at ringside and then Strong. He enters the ring and continues swinging the crutch, taking down Fish. Cole and Ciampa star each other down. Ciampa drops O’Reilly as he charges. Ciampa unloads on O’Reilly as Cole retreats. O’Reilly is left alone in the ring with Riddle, Lee and Ciampa now. Ciampa sends O’Reilly into a Final Flash from Riddle. Lee grabs O’Reilly and launches him from the ring, onto the other members of The Undisputed Era at ringside. Fans chant “NXT!” now. Ciampa spots the NXT Title belt laying on the mat. Fans chant “Goldie!” as Cole yells at Ciampa to keep his hands off the title. Ciampa leaves the title on the mat and tells Goldie it will have to wait because “Daddy’s going to war!” Fans pop as Ciampa has apparently declared war on Cole for Takeover. Cole grabs the belt and goes back to join his teammates on the ramp. The two sides face off from the stage and the ring as NXT goes off the air.
