The Rock has been rumored to be at Friday Night SmackDown this Friday but no deal has been reached for him to appear.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that they are working on trying to get him on the show but everything is up to whether he can pull it off with his busy schedule.
It’s not so much about trying to keep him a surprise and if he does appear on the show then it will be confirmed at the last minute.
WWE is hyping that every major Superstar from Raw and SmackDown will be on the show this Friday night along with some top names from the past including Stone Cold Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Sting, Goldberg, Kurt Angle and Ric Flair.
Here is what has been announced for Friday Night SmackDown on FOX:
- Kofi Kingston vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship
- Roman Reigns vs. Luke Harper
- Shane McMahon vs. Kevin Owens in a Ladder Match and the loser must leave WWE
- Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley and Sasha Banks
The blue carpet special from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles will air live on FOX at 7:30 pm eastern.
