For what it’s worth, Chris Jericho talked about Ortiz and Santana on his latest podcast and talked about wanting to work with them.
The significance of this is that it’s been heavily speculated that Jericho’s mystery partners on the first TNT show in Washington, DC will be Ortiz and Santana.
It would make sense for them to be the mystery partners because they attacked The Young Bucks at the All Out pay-per-view after their ladder match with the Lucha Bros. They also attacked the Lucha Bros., which opens the door for a feud with them.
Ortiz and Santana seem to be the obvious choice to be Jericho’s partners and Jericho mentioning them on his podcast could mean that he’s swerving everyone since it’s Jericho.
Santana and Ortiz were known as LAX in Impact Wrestling but they will not be using those names in AEW. Here we have more details on a possible new name.
