Matt Riddle Becomes #1 Contender, Next Week's NXT Episode To Have "Limited Commercial Interruption"
- Mauro Ranallo announced on tonight's WWE NXT episode that next Wednesday's show will air on the USA Network with "limited commercial interruption."

Next Wednesday's show will be the first that has both hours airing on the USA Network, from 8-10pm ET. This will also be the episode that goes head-to-head with the AEW Dynamite premiere on TNT.

- Tonight's episode saw Matt Riddle defeating Killian Dain in a Street Fight to become the new #1 contender to NXT Champion Adam Cole.

After earning his shot at Adam Cole, whom he squared off with and even temporarily trapped in a Fujiwara armbar, "The King of Bros" took to social media to comment on next week's important match in his career.

"This journey has been long and brutal and [Killian Dain] pushed me to my limits tonight in this street fight," wrote Riddle via Twitter after his victory on NXT TV on USA Network this evening. "But I came out on top and next week [Adam Cole] the title is coming home with the real stallion of NXT bro #stallion #nxt #bro #andnewnxtchampion #ob #originalbro #USA."

Riddle vs. Cole has been officially announced for next Wednesday's NXT episode on the USA Network.
