As noted, that The Velveteen Dream was seen “walking gingerly” after his loss to Roderick Strong on last week’s NXT episode.
Dream suffered from lumbar pain and was not cleared to compete along with Arturo Ruas and Kona Reeves.
Cathy Kelley updated fans on the status of Velveteen Dream and others’ injuries during a video on WWE’s social media platforms. Dream is currently “listed as day to day.”
Arturo Ruas was listed as having a broken finger thanks to Pete Dunn, but he is medically cleared to compete. The same is true for Kona Reeves who suffered a lacerated cheek during a dark match. Both are now cleared to compete.
