Vince McMahon is back to work for tonight’s WWE SmackDown episode but he’s not at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
Vince will be running tonight’s show with Executive Director Eric Bischoff and WWE Hall of Famer Michael “PS” Hayes working under him.
McMahon missed Monday’s RAW in Knoxville, along with Triple H and Kevin Dunn. Triple H was in Orlando to prepare for Wednesday’s WWE NXT premiere on the USA Network, but there’s no word yet on why Vince and Dunn missed RAW. RAW was ran by Executive Director Paul Heyman.
Speaking of Smackdown, Luke Harper and Ric Flair are both backstage for tonight show. Harper looks to be back on TV and worked into the Roman Reigns/Erick Rowan storyline with the likely destination being a tag team match next month at Hell in a Cell which will see Rowan and Harper take on Roman Reigns and presumably Daniel Bryan.
