It looks like Vince McMahon is at it again in terms of last-minute changes to the script for an episode of WWE television.
According to Ryan Satin, the WWE Chairman has “called in the SmackDown creative team to totally rewrite the show” for tonight’s live broadcast on the USA Network.
Satin tweeted the following, which Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com has confirmed:
Hearing from sources that Vince McMahon called in the SmackDown creative team to totally rewrite the show today— Ryan Satin (@ryansatin) July 30, 2019
Additionally, WWE has already officially changed an advertised match for tonight’s show. As noted moments ago, The New Day will now face The O.C. in a six-man tag match tonight. SmackDown Tag Team Champions Big E & Woods facing Drew McIntyre & Elias in a non-title match was originally announced for the episode.
WWE SmackDown Live goes down tonight from the FedEx Forum in Memphis, Tennessee.
