On the latest episode of the Steve Austin Show, Jim Ross talked to the Rattlesnake about All Elite Wrestling’s upcoming television show on TNT.
Ross predicted that the show would most likely be on Wednesday night considering Turner typically broadcasts NBA games on Tuesday.
I’m not sure exactly the date. I’ve heard two or three stories. It’s early October. I think it’s going to be on a Wednesday night, but that’s not been confirmed to me. Tuesday and Thursday are big basketball nights on TNT and we sure as hell don’t want to dance around the basketball schedule. Logically, by process of elimination, it looks like it’s going to be Wednesday. We’ll see.
AEW previously filed to trademark “Tuesday Night Dynamite” and “Wednesday Night Dynamite,” fueling speculation on the possible name for their TNT TV show. An official announcement on the AEW TV show should be coming this summer.
