Jeff Hardy Injury Updates, Smackdown Viewership Declines

This week’s WWE Smackdown episode drew 1.911 million viewers, this is down from last week’s 2.162 million viewers.

Smackdown ran opposite the Democratic Debate between the U.S. Presidential Candidates, which delivered over 8 million viewers for CNN. The July 31, 2018 edition of Smackdown delivered 2.401 million viewers.

To compare, Monday’s RAW episode drew an average of 2.321 million viewers, down from last week’s 3.093 million viewers for the RAW Reunion episode.

Jeff Hardy, who is recovering from issues with his knees, is also scheduled to return to action November 2 while Jinder Mahal – who underwent surgery on a torn patella – is not expected back until January.
