First Match Announced For WWE Stomping Grounds, Rey Mysterio Relinquishes The U.S. Title To Samoa Joe (Video)
- Samoa Joe is your new WWE United States Champion.

Tonight's RAW from Austin, TX saw Rey Mysterio relinquish the title and hand it over to Joe due to his separated shoulder. As we've noted, Rey suffered the injury during the title win over Joe at WWE Money In the Bank. Rey won with a botched pin, in a match that was cut short due to Joe's busted nose.

Joe is now a two-time WWE United States Champion.

- Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre in singles action has been announced for the WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view.

Reigns revealed the match during tonight's WWE RAW opening segment. He will face Shane McMahon at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia on Friday.

Reigns vs. Randy Orton was previously announced locally for Stomping Grounds.

The first-ever WWE Stomping Grounds pay-per-view takes place on June 23 from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington.
