– A date and location for this year’s WWE Clash Of Champions pay-per-view (PPV) has been announced.
The show will go down from the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina on Sunday, September 15.
– With just six nights away from his Universal Title defense against Baron Corbin, Seth Rollins will step into the ring with Daniel Bryan tonight on Monday Night Raw.
As previously noted, Baron Corbin will be choosing his special referee for his match on Sunday and it looks like Bryan might be a leading candidate.
Also set for tonight’s show:
A Fatal-Five Way match to determine the number 1 contender for Samoa Joe’s United States Championship. The competitors are Braun Strowman, The Miz, Ricochet, Cesaro and Bobby Lashley.
Also, as noted earlier, Bray Wyatt is scheduled to be backstage. That does not necessarily mean that he will appear on the show but it is interesting that they flew him in to be there tonight. It could simply be because they want to film some stuff backstage with him. We’ll find out more in just a few hours.
In related Bray Wyatt news, former WWE Star Lance Storm talked about some of the inside references on the Firefly Fun House. According to Storm, the FunHouse segments are actually a burial of WWE with a reference to Dean Ambrose. Click here for more on what Storm said about the segments.
