Tag Team Sent to Smackdown, More Moves Expected, Roman Reigns and Finn Balor On Their Roster Change

– Below is post-show video of the WWE reporter asking Balor how he plans to replicate his momentum on SmackDown.

“Well, I think what you’re forgetting is, I’m the two-time and current reigning Intercontinental Champion. This Superstar Shakeup has been a long time coming. I’m very happy, I’m proud to be a part of SmackDown. So, I guess you can call me Blue Finn,” Balor said.

– Below is Roman Reigns talking about assaulting Vince and what he is coming to SmackDown to do.

“I haven’t been a part of this show and this program for a while. I’ve been on RAW, I’ve always focused on RAW. So, I think if you’re going to move me to SmackDown, you gotta do it in the biggest fashion possible, so what better way than to come in and punch the boss’ jaw loose. To be able to just dive right back in the deep end and swim with the sharks is nice.

“When it comes to me and what I’m here to do, I’m here to make this place better, I’m here to draw more attention, I’m here to use my platform and my character, me, Joe as a person, with everything going on with me, it’s all going to be good stuff. So, I always welcome the responsibility and the challenge to be able to help something progress, and get better, in all walks of life, but when it comes to this business, in between those ropes, sports entertainment, professional wrestling, I care and I love so much for this business, because it’s fed me since day one. So, any time I can contribute and help put food on the table of others, and just make this whole product better, that’s key, that’s end-game for me, and that’s what I’m here for,” Reigns said.

– WWE has announced that Otis and Tucker of Heavy Machinery will be going to SmackDown from RAW in the 2019 Superstar Shakeup. Their roster moves were also announced after SmackDown.

The updated list of roster moves in the Shakeup looks like this:

RAW: AJ Styles, The Miz, Ricochet, Aleister Black, Erik and Ivar of The Viking Experience, Andrade, Zelina Vega, Rey Mysterio, Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso of The Usos, Naomi, EC3, Lacey Evans, Eric Young, Cedric Alexander

SmackDown: Roman Reigns, Elias, WWE Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor, Ember Moon, Bayley, Kairi Sane, Buddy Murphy, Lars Sullivan, Liv Morgan, Chad Gable, Apollo Crews, Mickie James, Otis and Tucker of Heavy Machinery

It’s believed that WWE United States Champion Samoa Joe will be sent to RAW later this week as more moves should be added on the WWE website and social media. As noted, Joe was backstage at this week’s RAW in Montreal, but he was very sick and his segment was removed from the show. It’s likely that this was his RAW roster move as Balor brought the WWE Intercontinental Title to SmackDown.

– The dark main event after tonight’s WWE 205 Live tapings at the Bell Centre in Montreal saw Roman Reigns and Randy Orton go at it with no official winner being announced. The finish saw Orton hit the draping DDT and then miss the RKO. Reigns followed up with a Superman Punch and a Spear. Orton then rolled out of the ring and Reigns’ music played as if he were the winner. That ended the show, according to correspondent Travis Bledsoe. Travis described the match as odd.
