NXT Results - April 10, 2019

We start off with a recap of what happened on Friday night at Takeover.

Candice LeRae versus Aliyah (with Vanessa Borne)

They lock up and Aliyah with a side head lock and single leg take down and she slaps LeRae. They lock up and Candice with an arm drag and Aliyah gets to the apron. Aliyah with a shoulder and Aliyah goes up top to pose. Aliyah flips off the turnbuckles and Candice with a drop kick. Aliyah avoids a baseball slide from Candice but Candice with a kick on the apron. Borne distracts Candice long enough to allow Aliyah to pull Candice shoulder first into the ropes. Aliyah sends Candice face first into the mat and connects with a knee drop. Aliyah kicks Candice in the corner.

Aliyah pulls Candice down by the hair and gets a near fall. Aliyah with a Japanese stranglehold but Candice with a snap mare. Candice backs Aliyah into the turnbuckles. Aliyah with a boot to Candice for a near fall. Aliyah with another near fall. Aliyah slaps Candice and Candice blocks a kick and kicks Aliyah to the mat. Aliyah with a clothesline and back elbow. Candice with an elbow and snap mare followed by senton. Candice with a neck breaker and quebrada for the three count.

Winner: Candice LeRae

We take a look back at the North American Championship Match from Friday between Matt Riddle and Velveteen Dream.

Velveteeen Dream says he is doing it on Wrestlemania Week. The same dream who could handle the spotlight and take over New York. Buddy Murphy walks past and Dream says Buddy couldn’t handle the spotlight during Wrestlemania week. Buddy says he sold the show and Dream tells Buddy to watch his match against Matt Riddle at Takeover. Dream asks Buddy where is his title.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at the Tag Title Match from Friday when the War Raiders faced Aleister Black and Ricochet.

We see KUSHIDA in the crowd on Friday night. We see the contract signing with William Regal and Triple H. Hunter says it is a big day to have one of the biggest stars in the world to come to NXT.

We go to commercial.

Danny Burch (with Oney Lorcan) versus Jaxson Ryker (with Steve Cutler and Wesley Blake)

Burch with a drop kick as the bell rings and Burch gets a near fall. Burch with forearms and chops. Burch with a clothelsine into the corner but Ryker sends Burch into the turnbuckles. Burch goes to the turnbuckles and Ryker pulls Burch off the turnbuckles. Ryker with forearms and a back elbow. Ryker gets a near fall. Ryker with a belly-to-back suplex followed by a diving head butt from the turnbuckles for a near fall. Ryker with a forearm across the chest.

Ryker with a knee drop. Ryker with a sleeper but Burch with a jaw breaker to escape. Burch with chops and forearms followed by clotheslines but Ryker stays on his feeet. Burch with an enzuigiri followed by a missile drop kick. Burch knocks Cutler off the apron and Lorcan with a cross body to Blake. Burch with a near fall. Ryker with a clothesline followed by a sit out power bomb for the three count.

Winner: Jaxson Ryker

After the match, Ryker grabs Lorcan and Lorcan chops Ryker. Lorcan chops Blake and Cutler until it becomes a three on one battle. Ryker with a clothesline to Lorcan.

We see footage from the Women’s Title Match on Friday night when Shayna Baszler faced Io Shirai, Bianca Belair, and Kairi Sane.

Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler is asked about what it means to beat all three women. She talks about defying the odds. She will beat anyone in the locker room and she says she is never losing the title.

We go to commercial.

We are back with a look at the UK Championship Match on Friday between Pete Dunne and WALTER.

Pete Dunne is asked in the back about his reaction to losing. Pete says there will be a rematch.

We take a look at the Men’s Championship Match on Friday between Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole.

We see Undisputed Era after the match and Cole says he had it. Cole wants to know what was Roddy thinking. He says it was going according to plan and then he sees the camera and tells them to turn it off.

We go to commercial.

We are back and next week Buddy Murphy faces Velveteen Dream for the North American Championship.

Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel versus Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford

Aichner and Ford start things off. Aichner knocks Dawkins off the apron and runs Ford into the corner. Barthel tags in and Ford leaps over a double clothesline and hits a double drop kick. Barthel with an Irish whip and when Ford tries to float over, Barthel with a kick to the midsection. Barthel with punches and he gets a near fall. Aichner tags in and he sends Ford into teh turnbuckles. Aichner with kicks in the corner. Aichner with a suplex for a near fall. Barthel tags in and punches Ford a few times. Barthel with a chin lock and Ford lands on his feet on a suplex attempt. Aichner tags in and hits a spinebuster followed by a knee from Barthel.

Barthel stands on Ford’s hand and Aichner kicks Ford. Aichner with a reverse chin lock and body scissors for a near fall. Barthel tags in and Aichner with a European uppercut. Dawkins tags in and connects with clotheslines and then he hits an uppercut on Barthel followed by an exploder to Barthel and then to Aichner. Ford tags in and Barthel pushes Ford off the turnbuckles. Dawkins is sent to the floor. Ford is sent into the turnbuckles and Aichner tags in and they hit a double baseball slide to each side of Ford’s head. Aichner with a brainbuster while Barthel hits a suicide dive onto Dawkins.

Aichner with a double jump moonsault for a near fall. Barthel tags in and Aicher has Ford up but Ford avoids a clothesline and Dawkins with a spear to Aichner. Dawkins is sent to teh floor by Barthel but Ford goes to the apron. Dawkins with the tag and a punch. They hit a Doomsday Blockbuster for the three count.

Winners: Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins
