Hulk Hogan was legitimately surprised when Paul Heyman walked out to the ring while he was posing at the start of WrestleMania.
As noted on Monday’s Wrestling Observer Radio, there were late changes to the match order for the show. The match order was changed during the Kickoff show and the Universal Championship match between Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar was supposed to happen later in the show. For some reason, Vince McMahon decided on that match going on first.
Meanwhile, Hogan was not told that Heyman would be walking out.
This is just the latest example of how chaotic things can be backstage before a show in WWE.
