CM Punk reportedly made a return to wrestling at Friday’s independent wrestling event held by MKE Wrestling in West Allis, Wisconsin.
At the event, a masked wrestler – apparently Punk – came out and hit the GTS. ROH’s Silas Young – the founder/owner of MKE Wrestling – tweeted the following, strongly hinting that it was Punk under the mask:
Ever since MKE Wrestling shared a clip of the match on Twitter, there had been a lot of speculation of who was under the mask because of the GTS being used.
The last time CM Punk was in a wrestling ring was during the Royal Rumble match at the 2014 Royal Rumble.
Last night we held @MKE_Wrestling at the Knights of Columbus building in west allis the place was packed with 350 people. This place has had 25+ years of wrestling and is the place a lot of guys started. Guys like @ColtCabana as well as a Punk who showed up in a mask last night— silas young (@lastrealmanROH) April 20, 2019

Here is the picture comparison for CM Punk and the masked person. This would really be something. I do not know who made this picture, so I do apologize for not being able to attribute, had it sent to me. pic.twitter.com/NtS2XC5HbU— Jon Alba (@JonAlba) April 21, 2019
