Former Impact Wrestling star Robbie E made his WWE NXT debut at the live event in Sanford, Florida on Thursday night.
Robbie was not there to wrestle. He walked out in a tight-fitting suit and glasses (see below) and managed Saurav Gurjar and Rinku Singh.
Robbie noted on Twitter that he is building a BRAND so it looks like, at least for now, like he will be used solely as a manger or an advocate since Vince McMahon is not a fan of the word “manager.”
According to FLWrestlingFan on Twitter, he gave a mission statement during his debut. He expanded on his mission to create a group of elite wrestlers from across the globe. While managers haven’t been truly in favor in WWE for a long while, we’ve seen more in recent years than you’d expect. Here’s hoping the former Jersey Shore wannabe makes an impact in this new profession.
