The Revival Wants Classic Tag Team Title Belts Back

The Revival Wants Classic Tag Team Title Belts Back

It looks like WWE is starting to deliver on their promise to push the tag team division. Last Monday on Raw, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson won the Raw Tag Team Championship.

Now, Wilder is calling on WWE to bring back the belt design that was used in the 80s, 90s and early 2000s. Wilder said, “The people have spoken @WWE. Don’t deny the Universe. Bring back the GOAT championships.”

Wilder and Dawson are fans of old school wrestling so this is no surprise. Now let’s see if WWE considers their request.

It sure would be nice to see the classic belts used since they are the belts fans associate with the boom period from the 80s and late 90s. Teams like The Hart Foundation, Demolition, Money Inc, The Legion of Dooms are among the legendary teams that held the belts with the classic design.
