During tonight’s Smackdown Main Event segment, Daniel Bryan cut a promo about the WWE Title and the symbol it represented.
The “Evil Vegan” would taunt the crowd, proclaiming them to be the real winners of Royal Rumble as Bryan retained against AJ Styles. Bryan would recognize himself as “The Planet’s Champion” and would drive the point home further by trashing the current WWE Championship belt. Bryan would see the title as unfit and only saw it in the image of a slaughtered cow.
Daniel says when he became the WWE Champion, he would change the world. To change the world, we need new symbols. Rowan gives Daniel a new belt that is the new symbol of excellence. This is your new WWE Championship. Daniel says the people are ignorant. This belt is made from 100% organic sustainable hemp from a naturally fallen oak.

It didn’t take long before AJ Styles would interrupt, teasing Bryan by suggesting he smoked his title prototype before unveiling it. This would lead to Randy Orton and Jeff Hardy entering the fold before a commercial break. Mustafa Ali and Samoa Joe would follow suit with all five men laying claim for a WWE Title opportunity. Joe would provoke Styles once again, leading for all five challengers brawling it out with Bryan at ringside.
Triple H would appear on the titantron to announce that at WWE Elimination Chamber, Daniel Bryan will have to defend the WWE Championship against all five men in an Elimination Chamber match. Bryan, stunned by the news, proceeded to run to the back before he was attacked by his subsequent challengers.
