– Darren Young discussed his wrestling plans in 2019 with The Roman Show. He’d also go on to explain that the lighter road schedule following his stint in WWE has allowed him to get in the best shape of his life.
“You go from being on the road 300 days a year to being on a limited schedule,” Young said. “So, you get proper sleep, you eat a little bit better, for me, health as well, a lot of jump roping, a lot of ab wheels.”
“2018 I spent a lot of time doing a lot of speaking engagements,” Young continued. “Very little wrestling but 2019 is going to be a big year for me! Hopefully [New] Japan, hopefully ROH.”
– On the latest edition of Sean Waltman’s podcast, XPac 12360, Waltman discussed WWE calling up Lars Sullivan and EC3. Waltman noted that both men are a good fit for the main roster.
“Lars Sullivan and EC3 are made for the main roster, more so than NXT,” Waltman said. “Obviously, Lars because he’s just freakish in so many ways. But EC3, I look at him and I look at his mannerisms, his mic skills, he’s tailor made for a good push on the main roster.”
