WWE RAW Results - December 3, 2018

Tonight’s WWE RAW opens live from the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas with JoJo in the ring. She leads a 10-bell salute for President George H.W. Bush, who passed away at the age of 94 on Friday. The 41st President lived in Houston.

We are live from the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, as Ronda Rousey and Natalya make their way to the ring for our first match of the night.

Ronda Rousey and Natalya vs. Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax

Nia Jax is out first for her team. Tamina Snuka is out next and they head to the ring together while Jax’s music continues.

The bell rings but out comes The Riott Squad’s Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan with a table. This distracts everyone, allowing Jax and Snuka to strike. They end up pulling Rousey out of the ring and double teaming her, destroying her and sending her into the steel ring steps. Natalya tries to fight off The Riott Squad but they triple team her on the other side of the ring. They set the table up on the floor and bring Natalya in to slam her from the apron but Rousey slides into the ring and comes to make the save. Jax and Snuka stop Rousey and attack her.

Jax drops a leg on Rousey while The Riott Squad laughs. The Riott Squad puts Natalya through the table with a superplex from the apron. Natalya is rolling around in pain on what’s left of the table as Rousey slowly gets to her feet. The heels back up the ramp laughing as Rousey and referees check on Natalya at ringside. We go to commercial.

– Back from the break and we see what just happened to Natalya and Ronda Rousey. We cut backstage to Natalya clutching her arm while walking with Rousey. Rousey calls for trainers to come check on Natalya. Rousey stares off and she’s not happy.

In the Arena:

Women’s Division Consultant Alexa Bliss makes her way to the ring. Alexa reminds us with the announcement that she would oversee the women’s division. Alexa mentions that she has gotten great power. Alexa says last week’s open forum did not work but we will do it again.

We go to the ring and out comes the new head of the red brand women’s division, Alexa Bliss. There are two chairs in the ring.

Bliss talks about how General Manager-Elect Baron Corbin put her in charge last week. Some fans boo. She goes on and says last week’s Open Forum didn’t go so well, so we’re going to try again this week. Bliss has Charly Caruso at ringside with a mic again. Like last week, Bliss introduces Sasha Banks and Bayley to participate in the forum. Sasha is out first, followed by Bayley. They head to the ring together.

Bliss says she didn’t know about Dana Brooke, Mickie James and Alicia Fox attacking last week but they have been reprimanded. Bliss picks a male fan at ringside to ask a question. Charly approaches with the mic and the guys asks about social media comments on Sasha using Bayley. Banks jokes that Bayley wasn’t supposed to find out she’s planning on stabbing her in the back. Banks says they just had a fun weekend together in Texas, they are best friends and will be tag team partners forever. Bliss picks a female fan from the crowd next to ask who they would pick to go against. They both name WWE Hall of Famers Trish Stratus and Lita. There’s more tension between Bliss and Banks. Another male fan is picked and he says he’s from Houston. He asks what superpowers they would have if they could pick. Bayley would make things disappear, starting with Bliss. Bliss says they were just starting to get somewhere but Bayley always disappoints her. Banks responds and Bliss takes a shot at beating her for the title a while back.

A female fan is picked next. She asks about changes they will bring to the division in 2019. Bayley says they want to be the first-ever WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Fans pop. Dana rushes the ring with Mickie and Fox. They hit the apron and Bliss backs them off, saying this won’t happen again on her watch. Bliss scolds them and announces a match for tonight. Bliss says Dana can stay out here if she wants but it will be Banks and Bayley vs. Fox and Mickie, right now. Bliss exits the ring as her music hits. We go to commercial.

Sasha Banks and Bayley vs. Alicia Fox and MIckie James (with Dana Brooke)

Bayley and Mickie start and Bayley with a double leg take down and punches. Bayley misses a knee in the corner but Bayley with an elbow. Mickie with a kick to the head and she sends Bayley into the turnbuckles. Alicia tags in and kicks Bayley and hits a Northern Lights suplex for a near fall. Alicia with a reverse chin lock. Mickie tags in and she hits a running kick to Bayley against the ropes. Mickie with a kick and reverse chin lock. Bayley with elbows but Mickie pulls Bayley to the mat. Dana with a punch when the referee is not looking. Mickie with a full nelson and Alicia tags in. Alicia with a boot to Mickie and Mickie goes to the floor.

Bayley escapes a slam and tags in Sasha. Sasha with clotheslines and a drop kick. Sasha blocks a kick and connects with a knee. Alicia floats over and gets a sunset flip. Sasha puts Alicia in the Banks Statement. Mickie breaks up the submission. Mickie tags in and kicks Sasha. Sasha with punches and she goes for an arm drag using the ropes but Mickie trips Sasha and kicks Sasha to get a near fall. Bayley with a Saito suplex to Alicia and she knocks Dana off the apron. Sasha with a rollup on Mickie for a near fall. Sasha escapes the DDT and Sasha with a lungblower and Bayley with a belly-to-belly suplex for the three count.

Winners: Sasha Banks and Bayley

– We see how Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre destroyed Elias last week. Corbin has declared tonight’s show as Drew McIntyre Appreciation Night. Also still to come, a look at Corbin’s rise to power. Back to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Alexa Bliss walks in the back and Ronda Rousey stops her and she says the Riott Squad has crossed the line. Alexa says she did not expect that to happen. Alexa says that she sent the Riott Squad home and will deal with them. Ronda says she will take care of Nia and Tamina tonight. Alexa says she will find a tag team partner for Ronda but Ronda says she will find her own tag team partner.

– We have a video package for Baron Corbin talking about how great a job he is doing. Baron will not let negativity get in the way of progress. Baron knows how to delegate. He is not one to sweat the small stuff and he takes care of the biggest problems.

Backstage:

Baron Corbin is in his office and Chad Gable and Bobby Roode enter. Chad says they want a rematch for the tag titles. Bobby says he will do anything to get his hands on Drake Maverick after the way he treated him. Baron says they can have another title match if Bobby wins his match against Drake Maverick. Bobby wants to know what is the catch. Baron says that Chad and AOP are banned from ringside.

– We go to the ring and out comes The Lucha House Party – Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik. They’re carrying pinatas and handing out the treats to fans at ringside. We go back to commercial.

Back from the break and we see recent happenings between The Revival and Lucha House Party. Back to the ring and out comes The Revival – Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder. Dawson takes the mic and goes on about how Lucha House Party doesn’t respect tag team wrestling. He’s ready to teach a lesson in this one-on-one match. JoJo announces that this match will be contested under Lucha House Rules, meaning all three members can participate. The Revival isn’t happy.

Kalisto, Lince Dorado, and Gran Metalik vs. Scott Dawson (with Dash Wilder)

Scott starts with Metalik and Scott with punches. Metalik flips away from Dawson and hits a drop kick followed by a slam. Dorado tags in and so does Kalisto. Kalisto with a splash off Dorado’s shoulders. Dorado with a splash and Kalisto gets a near fall. Dorado tags in and Scott with a back elbow to Kalisto. Scott with a clothesline when Dash distracts Dorado. Dawson with an elbow drop and head butt for a near fall. Dawson gets another near fall.

Dawson with a Gory Special and Dorado with an escape. Dorado with a super kick and Metalik drop kicks Wilder and Dorado with a baseball slide to Wilder. Kalisto with a double jump senton onto Wilder. Kalisto with Salida Del Sol and Metalik with a senton for the three count.

Winner: Lince Dorado, Kalisto, and Gran Metalik

Backstage:

Baron Corbin is in his office and he gets what he has been looking for over the last hour. Baron looks at it and says he will love it. Baron tells him to get everything ready for Drew McIntyre Appreciation Night. We go to commercial.

In the Arena:

Baron Corbin is in the ring and he says in two short weeks, he will be Raw’s General Manager. What a journey it has been. From winning Money in the Bank to being championship caliber to being constable to General Manager Elect. Baron says if you are born better than everyone else, you can achieve anything. Baron says he has had a few thorns in his side. The Shield, Finn Balor, Kurt Angle, and Braun Strowman. With the help of one person this journey has been pain free. Tonight is Drew McIntyre Appreciation Night.

Baron brings out Drew McIntyre. Baron thanks Drew for all of his hard work and unwavering support. He says Drew is on the right side of history. There needs to be something to commemorate all that Drew has done. Baron gives Drew a Gold Medal of Excellence.

Drew says he did what no one else would do. He is here to eradicate complacency. People were in the back playing games on their phones. They were happy to collect their paychecks. Drew says they were responding to thinks said about them on social media. Drew says he made Raw in his image. Drew says it is something that has to happen every day, not just Monday. Drew says that Finn Balor thinks he is the voice of these pathetic people. Finn is nothing more than a boy in a man’s world. At TLC, he will hurt Finn and break his spirit.

Dolph Ziggler makes his way to the ring.

Dolph asks Drew if he is having some memory problems. He brought Drew to Raw and they were dominating. Dolph says he was the brains and Drew was the muscle. Dolph says his invitation got lost in the mail. Drew tells Dolph the truth is that he was never invited. Drew says you don’t quite meet the height requirement for one. Drew says he is going to drop a truth bomb on Dolph. He was always the brains and brawl. Drew says he is the whole damn package. The relationship was working, but it is not working any more. Your role was to get him in a prominent position and you did it. You succeeded for once in your life. Drew thanks Dolph and tells him to leave.

Drew tells Dolph he can leave at any time. Drew says his thanks isn’t good enough for Dolph. Drew wonders if Dolph is going to cry. Drew says that he is the reason Dolph is relevant for the first time in ten years. Dolph punches Drew and Dolph with a Zig Zag.

Baron tells Dolph that he is not going to ruin Drew McIntyre Appreciation Night. You have a match right now. Back to commercial.

Drew McIntyre vs. Dolph Ziggler

The match is joined in progress and Drew says something to Dolph. Dolph with a punch but Drew blocks a kick and takes Dolph to the mat and catapults Dolph into the ring post and Dolph goes to the floor. Drew gets Dolph on his shoulders and Drew tosses Dolph back into the ring. Drew kicks Dolph and applies an arm bar. Drew runs his other arm across Dolph’s face after sending Dolph back to the mat.

Dolph stomps on the foot and punches Drew. Dolph with chops and he goes for the hesitation DDT but Drew holds on and hits a back drop on Dolph. Drew with a chop and Dolph is sent to the floor. Drew says he has been taking it easy on Dolph so he will think that Dolph is Finn Balor. Drew runs Ziggler into the ring apron, ringside barrier and then hits a spinebuster. They return to the ring and Drew blocks a punch and chops Dolph.

Finn Balor makes his way to the stage as we go to commercial.

We are back and Ziggler with chops while we see Balor at ringside. Ziggler with an elbow and boot to Drew. Drew with an elbow in the corner and then he hits a reverse Alabama slam.for a near fall. Drew puts Ziggler on the turnbuckles and chops Dolph. Drew with a chop across the chest and he sets for a superplex but Ziggler with punches. Drew goes to the mat and Ziggler goes for a hesitation DDT and he hits it. Dolph gets a near fall. Ziggler with an elbow and he sends Drew over the top rope to the floor. Dolph comes off the apron and he punches Drew.

Dolph with chops against the ringside barrier. Drew with a head butt to Ziggler and then he drops Ziggler on the ringside barrier. Drew sends Ziggler back into the ring and the referee goes down. Balor with a drop kick to Drew out of nowhere. The referee starts his count and Drew beats the count into the ring, but Ziggler with a super kick for the three count.

Winner: Dolph Ziggler

– We take a look at what happened to Elias last week on Raw.

– Elias walks in the back and we go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Drew McIntyre is asked about what he did to Dolph Ziggler. Drew says that Dolph was never his friend. He was a means to an end. Dolph is an enemy. Dolph knows how twisted and sick he can be. Drew says he is the mountain and he will come crashing down on Dolph Ziggler. Finn Balor is a marked man.

In the Arena:

Elias is in the ring. Elias says he has been looking for Bobby Lashley. He says that Bobby is harder to find in this arena than Carmello Anthony. Bobby is hiding because he is afraid of the living truth. He can see the fear that Bobby is carrying around. At TLC, there will be no more hiding. On that night, Bobby Lashley will know what WWE stands for. Elias says he has a song for everyone.

Lio Rush interrupts and introduces Bobby Lashley. Lio says that while we would all love to hear Elias play a song, the spotlight belongs to Bobby Lashley. You saw and felt the power and strength of Bobby Lashley last week. At TLC you will feel it again. Lio says that Bobby is like a Greek God.

Elias interrupts the pose down and comes up the ramp. Lashley punches Elias. Lashley tries to send Elias into the LED board but Elias reverses it and then he goes after Lio Rush but Lio escapes. Lashley goes to the back and Elias follows.

Lio gets back on the stage and Elias hits Lio in the back with the guitar. We see Finn Balor on the floor and it appears Lio was sent onto the stage by Balor.

Backstage:

Baron Corbin is in his office and Jinder Mahal is in there with the Singhs. Jinder tells him of the job that Baron is doing on Raw. Jinder says Baron will put an end to Braun Strowman. Jinder asks Baron to take care of Finn Balor for him.

Baron talks to Rhyno and Heath Slater now. Baron says he has been crunching some numbers and there is only enough room on Raw for one of them. Baron says that one can quit to save the other’s job. Slater says he cannot quit. He has kids. Rhyno says he has worked hard for everything. Baron says if they cannot figure it out, they can handle things in the ring. The winner keeps his job and the loser is fired. We go to commercial.

Drake Maverick vs. Bobby Roode

Drake throws his vest at Roode and runs into a punch. Roode kicks Drake in the corner.

We see Akam and Rezar attacking Gable in the back and sending him into some trays. Baron Corbin says it is now a three on two handicap match.

Akam and Rezar make their way to the ring while Roode pulls Maverick back into the ring. Drake with a punch to the midsection but Roode with a kick and Glorious DDT but Akam and Rezar break sup the cover. Roode is sent shoulder first into the ring post. Rezar with hammer fists to the back of the head. Rezar with more forearms to Roode. Akam tags in and connects with a boot off the turnbuckles while Rezar hits a side slam.

Akam kicks Roode. Gable walks to the ring and Akam and Rezar focus on Gable. Gable with forearms and elbows to Akam and Rezar. Rezar with a boot after Akam hits a reverse atomic drop. Akam and Rezar with Super Collider and power bombs. Drake wants the tag and he covers Roode and gets the three count.

Winners: Drake Maverick & AOP

– We are back and Cole mentions that John Cena has been named the Muhammad Ali Legacy Award Winner by Sports Illustrated.

In the Arena:

We go to the ring and out come several men wearing gas masks, dressed like security or a SWAT team. Sirens are going off in the arena. Dean Ambrose’s music hits and out he comes, also wearing a gas mask. The sirens continue. Ambrose has the men surround the ring to protect him.

Ambrose apologizes for the drastic measures he’s taken tonight but you can’t be too safe in a dangerous slum like Houston. Ambrose is protecting himself from the people and their diseases, and from the madman Seth Rollins. Ambrose takes his mask off. Ambrose says last time he was in this ring he was viciously attacked by Rollins, unprovoked. Ambrose goes on about Rollins and says he’s proud to stand here as the moral compass of WWE. Ambrose says he would take the Intercontinental Title by force at TLC but that’ll be too easy. Ambrose tells Rollins to pay attention because he knows he’s backstage watching. Ambrose goes on about how Rollins will lose control of himself at TLC, and then lose control of the title. Ambrose tells Rollins not to worry because his prestigious title will fall into his hands. The music interrupts and out comes the WWE Intercontinental Champion through the crowd from behind.

Rollins decks two of the guards as others went to the ramp to wait for him. Ambrose retreats as Rollins hits the ramp. Rollins cleans house as the guards come after him. Rollins launches one guard out on top of the others. Rollins runs the ropes for a suicide dive to Ambrose on the floor but Ambrose pushes a guard in the way. Rollins chases Ambrose through the crowd and beats on him when he catches him. Ambrose fights back and they brawl. Rollins gets the upperhand and tosses Ambrose back over the barrier. Rollins leaps off the barrier but Ambrose hits him in the face with a gas mask. Ambrose unloads on Rollins while he’s down. Fans chant “you suck!” at Ambrose now. Ambrose drops Rollins on the floor with Dirty Deeds as the boos continue. Ambrose orders some of the guards to throw Rollins back into the ring. Ambrose lifts Rollins and drops him in the middle of the ring with another Dirty Deeds as fans boo. Fans chant “one more time” but Ambrose leaves the ring as the sirens start back up. Rollins is laid out on his face in the ring.

– Still to come, Rousey and a mystery partner vs. Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka.

– We are back with a Moments Ago Moment of what just happened between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Corey asks Renee once again about Dean’s behavior and Renee refuses to answer, claiming spousal privilege.

– We take a look at what happened at the start of the show with Natalya and Ronda Rousey.

Backstage:

Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax are in the interview area and they are told that Ronda Rousey is teaming with Ember Moon. Nia says that is a shame because they were hoping that Charly was going to be Ronda’s partner tonight. Nia says that is as ridiculous as anyone being Ronda’s partner. Nia eliminated Ember at the battle royal at Evolution and Tamina has been taking care of her so they didn’t have to see her face. Tonight, they will rearrange her appearance, just like she did with Becky. Then they will isolate Ronda since Ronda shouldn’t be at 100 percent after Survivor Series or after what happened earlier tonight. She will reclaim her Raw Women’s Championship.

Rhyno versus Heath Slater in a Loser is Fired from Raw Match

Rhyno with a punch and he sends Slater into the turnbuckles. Rhyno with punches. Rhyno with a short arm clothesline. Rhyno sends Slater into the turnbuckles and chops him. Rhyno with an Irish whip and shoulder in the corner. Rhyno runs into the turnbuckles when Slater moves and Slater with a neck breaker for the three count.

Winner: Heath Slater

After the match, Slater isn’t happy about the win but he leaves as his music plays. Rhyno looks disappointed in the ring.

Backstage:

Back from the break and Baron Corbin approaches Heath Slater backstage. Slater says he’d like to do anything he can to help his buddy Rhyno. Corbin gives Slater his new uniform – a referee shirt. Corbin says he’s keeping Slater on RAW but only as a referee. Slater looks surprised.

Jinder Mahal vs. Finn Balor

They lock up and Mahal runs Balor into the corner and connects with shoulders. Balor blocks a punch and punches Mahal and follows with a chop. Balor with a side head lock and Mahal with a back elbow. Mahal with a side head lock and he hot shots Balor.

We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Balor starts making a comeback. Balor with a double stomp to the chest in the middle of the ring. Balor with an enziguri and more offense. Balor dropkicks Jinder back. Balor climbs up but The Singh Brothers get involve and send Balor to the mat as the referee is distracted. The Singh Brothers dance at ringside.

Apollo Crews runs down and takes out The Singh Brothers at ringside. Apollo turns around to Jinder laying him out on the floor. Balor runs the ropes and leaps out, taking Jinder down on the floor. Balor brings Jinder back in and hits the corner dropkick. Balor climbs to the top and hits a Coup de Grace on Jinder for the pin to win.

Winner: Finn Balor

We go to commercial.

Backstage:

We are back and Finn Balor is asked about what he has done tonight and he is attacked by Drew McIntyre. Officials try to stop Drew but it is not too successful. Drew says he is fine and he leaves but Finn is not moving. Drew lied and he attacks Finn some more.

– We have a video package for Lars Sullivan, who is coming to Raw or Smackdown. Lars says it does not matter which brand he goes to, the magnitude of destruction will have never been seen before.

Ronda Rousey and Ember Moon vs. Tamina Snuka and Nia Jax

We go to the ring and out comes Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka for tonight’s main event. RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey is out first for her team. Rousey hits the ring, staring her opponents down as they exit. Rousey turns to wait for her partner Ember Moon as the music hits. Jax and Snuka enter the ring to beat her down from behind.

Moon rushes the ring and flies at Jax with double knees. Moon leaps out and takes Snuka down now. Rousey runs the apron and jumps down to the floor at Jax, taking her back down. Rousey and Moon get fired up together in the ring now.

Back from the break and the match is underway. Jax tosses Moon and talks some trash to Rousey. Snuka tags in and decks Moon, then rocks her with a right hand. Moon counters coming out of a move. Rousey finally gets the tag as fans pop. Rousey nails Snuka and knees her as Moon tags back in. Moon drops Snuka on her face and covers for a 2 count. Moon screams out and flips into the corner with the big right hand to Snuka. Jax comes in and distracts Moon and the referee. Moon turns around to a big kick from Snuka for a close 2 count.

Snuka knocks Moon into the corner and works her over. Jax tags back in and hits Moon in the gut while Snuka holds her. Jax drops Moon with a headbutt, then mocks Rousey. Jax and Snuka keep control until Moon counters and sends Jax to the mat. Jax ends up knocking Rousey off the mat with a cheap shot. Ronda comes back up but Jax and Snuka double team Moon, taking her back to their corner. Snuka slams Moon in the corner and keeps the attack going. Snuka accidentally knocks Jax off the apron to the floor. Moon goes for a tag but Snuka runs over. Moon with an enziguri. Rousey finally gets the hot tag.

Rousey rushes in and unloads with clotheslines to Snuka. Rousey with knees and more strikes. Rousey orders Snuka to tag Jax in. Jax tells Rousey to go get her if she wants her. Jax looks a bit surprised before coming in but she immediately tags Snuka back in. Fans boo Jax. Rousey yanks Jax into the ring. Snuka is legal and she comes i but Rousey hits her with body shots into the corner. Rousey with a flying elbow. Rousey with another big takedown for a close 2 count as Jax makes the save. Moon comes in and they take Jax down with strikes. Snuka rolls Rousey up from behind for a close 2 count. Moon ends up hitting The Eclipse on Snuka. Rousey grabs Snuka’s arm and drops her into the armbar. Jax looks on from the floor as Snuka taps out for the finish.

Winners: Ronda Rousey and Ember Moon

After the match, Rousey and Moon stand tall as Rousey’s music hits. We go to replays. Jax backs up the ramp as Rousey talks trash and stares her down from the ring, holding the title over her shoulder. RAW goes off the air.
