Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Seth Rollins has opened up on a potential showdown with IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega.
Rollins is one of the top stars featured on the flagship show of the WWE, Monday Night Raw, and has earned a reputation of someone who can pretty much have a classic match with anyone on the WWE roster these days.
With such a reputation, fans can always dream about potential matches with WWE talent and wrestlers in other promotions such as NJPW (New Japan Pro Wrestling) or ROH (Ring of Honor).
Thus, when doing an interview Iridian Fierro of La Ley 107.9 promoting the holiday week WWE live events in Chicago, he was asked about a match with Omega.
“Kenny and I worked in Ring of Honor for a short period of time together but that was another lifetime ago. It was probably 10 years ago. We never officially had a one-on-one match. The question was posed to me, ‘Who would you want to face outside the WWEandd the obvious answer was Kenny Omega. That’s a guy that I’ve never faced one-on-one, and I’m all about testing myself. I think I’m the absolute best, and make no doubt about it, Kenny Omega is also one of the best in the world.”
