– Authors of Pain, Lucha House Party, B-Team, and Revival competed for number one contendership in the RAW tag team division, and The Revival wound up coming out on top.
It was a great rebound for the duo of Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder, as they had been outmatched by the Lucha House Party in past weeks in handicap matches.
However, now they will be able to earn tag team gold in a match against Bobby Roode and Chad Gable in a future RAW Tag Team Championship match.
– After spending six months on the sideline due to shoulder surgery, Sami Zayn is on the road back to Monday Night RAW.
WWE aired a vignette highlighting the former NXT Champion, continuing to push his recent heel run and “wanting to prove everyone wrong.” His last appearance was at Money In The Bank in June, where he was squashed in a match with Bobby Lashley. Right after that, he took a hiatus to have surgery on both shoulders and given him time for some self-reflection.
It has yet to be determined when he’ll return in a WWE ring, but let the countdown begin.
