Brock Lesnar Underdog Against Daniel Cormier

Brock Lesnar Underdog Against Daniel Cormier

Brock Lesnar will be entering the UFC octagon for the tenth time as he takes on currently double champ Daniel Cormier. It is a chance for the WWE legend to once again become the baddest man on the planet by winning the UFC heavyweight title. It is going to be one if not the biggest event in mixed martial arts and whoever wins will cement their place as the best ever. DC has been mauling fighters in both divisions since his loss to Jon Jones in a rematch for the light heavyweight belt and bookmakers have him the favorite to retain his title.

DC is not your typical MMA fighter as he is small in height for the division as well as overweight for his body size. If you put Brock Lesnar next to Cormier you would not think the former has a chance but do not let looks deceive you as he is one of the greatest of all time to enter the Octagon. That is why brand new betting sites have DC priced as the 2/5 favorite to win the battle between the two heavyweights.

The fight between the two legendary MMA fighters has been in the pipeline for some time now with both meetings in the octagon after DC became the first person in history to hold the light heavy and heavyweight belts simultaneously. Cormier was impressive in his first round KO victory against Stipe Miocic and during his post-fight interview he calls of Lesnar who ended up joining him in the octagon. It was a heated affair with a fight nearly breaking out after Lesnar pushed DC in the chest but thankfully things settled down soon after.

It should come as no surprise to see Lesnar as the underdog for this fight considering he has not competed in MMA since 2016 at UFC 200. Bookmakers have him priced at 7/4 to become the heavyweight champ which many will find attractive odds considering the formidable size difference of the two.

This is a mixed martial arts fight that no true WWE fan can miss due to both fighters strength coming from their exceptional wrestling skills. It will be interesting to see which fight has the upper hand when it comes to wrestling as both are of the highest caliber in the world. The one who is able to impose their game the most will come out on top so the first minute of the matchup will play a big factor.

It is not just DC that will be walking into the octagon with two belts under his arms as Lesnar also recently made the history books by becoming a two time champion by beating Braun Strowman in the WWE Crown Jewel. DC even made a joke about him bring his belts with him so he could take care of them once he had beaten him. With Cormier stating he is retiring once he turns 40 years old which takes place on the 20th of March, it is a fitting super fight end to an illustrious career. If he does overcome Lesnar it will set up the mouthwatering prospect of a third rematch against the only person ever to beat him in Jon Jones.
