Recently, WWE RAW has received terrible reviews from professional wrestling fans and media members.
The past two weeks’ shows have been re-written by Vince McMahon, the latter as a result of Raw being held in Houston, Texas – the hometown of the recently departed former President Of The United States, George H. W. Bush.
A lot of the negative reviews could be attributed to McMahon’s rewrites. However, with no competition, WWE doesn’t really have any incentive to make next week’s show better than last’s the way they used to. Recently, acting Monday Night Raw General Manager Baron Corbin was interviewed on WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T’s podcast, “Heated Conversations.”
During the show, Corbin was asked about the negative reaction Raw has been getting as of late. Here’s what he had to say:
“Just because [Twitter fans] are the loudest, it doesn’t mean they’re the majority,” Corbin said. “It’s good that people speak their minds about these kinds of things, but it’s my show and if you want to change it, try. That’s what I say.
“Come get it, if you want it. I’m in charge, but tonight we’re going to step it up and put something fresh out there. We’re always out there like [Booker T] said to put on the best show possible. I want tonight to be better than last week.
“I want last week to be better than the week before. I want next week to be better than this week. Like, if you’re not getting better, you’re getting worse.”
